Jenny Hung’s "City Speed" was selected from a pool of 60 applicants during the fall 2010 Barrier Beautification Open Call. The design is a fusion of two forms: the organic shape of bird wings and the hard edges of the City. Her design was inspired by the stripe pattern found on traffic safety equipment and the colors of birds commonly sighted within the limits of NYC such as the Rock Pigeon, the Red-tailed Hawk, the White-breasted Nuthatch, and the Northern Cardinal. The feathers and wings of each bird were drawn larger than life creating a bold abstract design.
Jenny Hung is a graphic designer and graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Her work values the questioning of presumptions and aims for a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.

I went to a market last weekend to watch and take some photos of an agility show with dogs and owners from Linköpings Brukshundsklubb. Both the owners and I had a hard time to catch up with incredibly fast running dogs, but it was a fun challenge as a photographer and the dogs seemed to enjoy it as well! And it's always extra fun to scroll through the many shots of the day to find the ones where everything is just right; the focus, the timing, the angle, the composition. This was one of them.
I think the breed is some variation of border collie.

This is the railway of the Funicular Como-Brunate, taken during the ride way down to get back to Como.
I really like this shot, specially the sense of speed it gives and the red color lights in fusion with the black railway line.

When US Military Jeeps were left over in the Philippines, from World War II, they were converted into Jeepneys. When wheeled vehicles became obsolete with the invention of hover technology, the remaining US Military Jeeps were converted into Jeepikes, their speeder bike equivalent.

This speeder bike was created for Category 3 of the Speeder Bike Contest 2011.
The requirement of Category 3 was to design a military speeder bike of the future.

I found this photo hiding away, I had worked on it a while a go, but some how forgot about it.
It was taken on a Super Yacht that I was working on in Europe.
Mistral 55, a Pershing 115' with KaMeWa water jets powered by 2x MTU 16V 4000 series engines for the main propulsion and steering, and a Vericor TF 50 gas turbine for some extra speed.
The Pershing name badge would pop open to allow for the extra flow of air to the engine room for the turbine
Top speed for this boat was 55 knots, and was alot of fun!!
This boat at full speed would consume 2000 litres of diesel per hour.

This center opened on November 11th, 2016; it was originally Hannaford #430, which opened on July 12th, 1997. It became a Kroger on August 3rd, 2000, which closed on May 17th, 2008, and became Fresh World in late 2009, which closed in April 2010.
When I rule the Earth, this is the kind of crap you're going to have to put up with, "math anxiety" be dammed.

The colors are kind of bold but I like it.
Speeder 182 of the DEV.
It was built by FKF (Frankfurter Karosserie Fabrik) in 1948.
It is powered with a little 2HP two-stroke engine.
This speeder can't drive backwards, so it takes three people to turn the whole thing around.

Another firecracker in another block of silicone rubber painted black.
Delay was longer so I think this is some of the block expanded. I sure wish those black cats were less bright.
I also tried putting the little devils in black balloons and got some very silly photos of very rapid balloon inflation.
Not silly enough to post, though.
