Another piece of ceramic that should never had existed gets blown up. Lots of light from this one. Colorful.
Before the firecracker it was a cute (not) ice skating elephant named Babe. He looks kind of sad because he wasn't doing well on his skates.

My wife and I (mostly her) have been dealing with a move of her father and his wife away from Ojai.
He has Alzheimers and is moving to assisted living.
It has been a stressful learning experience.
Moving out generates an amazing amount of debris. What was useful becomes useless.
Anyhow, a couple of chipped cups heading to the trash became very chipped sups :-)
If you look carefully you can see the wooden ball. In these shots, the ball did break apart. The splinters really lacerated the foam backdrop.
