I just got the set of Rey's speeder from Jakku yesterday and as it is way to big and a very "untidy" build, I decided to build my own version. However, I wanted to use as many parts from the set as possible and as little others.
I guess, this is still not the final version as Rey has nothing to hold on to and the front exhaust is still missing but it's definitly an improvement to the set..
What do you think? Any suggestions on improving it further? Please let me know!
Ceru knew it was a risk to go by the stone heads, but it was her only option. The citizens of Isle Pascua avoided the ancient ruins at all costs; it was rumored a mysterious and deadly curse resided there. The path through the ruins was the shortest and Ceru knew this was her chance to make up precious lost ground in the race.
Ceru veered off the path taken by all the other racers and ripped her speeder into high gear. Sweat beaded on her forehead as she neared the ominous gray faces, but she firmed her resolve and pushed forward. Suddenly she felt light and free as her speeder zoomed in a swirl of magic. But it wasn't scary, it was exhilarating. Within seconds she had sling-shotted around the island.
With a jolt, Ceru came back to reality and realized she was in the lead! The finish line was in view and the rest of the racers were gaining on her. With one final push, she crossed the finish line and became the youngest champion in history!
LSB FLWR Speeder built by Mr. Midwest.
Built for my local LUGs Monthly MOC competition. (It won.) And now I think it's time to take it a step further, but most likely as part of a much larger Sci-Fi themed MOC, complete with movement, hmmm...

Good night of wool burning and light painting with My mate Jonathan last night. Set up at this bridge and waited about 15 mins for a train to pass, caught by surprise by the first one but luckily 5 mins later a 125 came past and we managed to catch this.

Solar Storm Industry: Phantom X4
Category : Nightline City
If you want to be seen on the street, the Phantom X4 is your choice. Speed, maneuverability and a striking design, the Phantom X4 was developed according to this solution. A light pulse generator motor guarantees acceleration values below 1.8 seconds from 0 - 150 km / h. Humans suffer without adequate equipment, lack of consciousness. That is why this speeder is driven almost exclusively by other forms of life.

is the car ready?
all warmed up and waiting for you boss.
did you get me a fast one this time?
like a bat outa hell.
that last getaway car was an antique. a joke.
oh. an antique?
that thing was ancient! it got me put away for 5 years.
I sure don't want that to happen again, boss.
that makes two of us.
say boss, can we. . . can we, like, use your car?
mine? for the bank job? but you got us a car.
it's the wrong. . . color, boss. you'd. . . you'd hate it.
you sure?
yeah. no doubt about it.
