Here shown with its older brethren. I tried to continue with "trademark features" - namely split cockpit, red interior and wider back housing pair of engines. Not that this description wouldn't match like 90% of the speeders but it is not much diffrent with modern cars.
Another day and unexpectedly another speeder. Couldn’t help myself, is this procrastination or just another attempt at juggling multiple ideas!? I need to get back to the Stinger Mantis, as I feel so so close to finishing it now. ;)

My submission for week 6 of the 2014 photochallenge. The theme for the week is: panning.
One night I got the urge to make a super sleek, open top racer using my 2 favourite colours (black and dark red). I wanted it to be a really dense, compact build with a smooth upper body and badass looking engine chassis underneath. So I did.
A couple of Canada Geese (lower left) are chillin' as CSX's Chesapeake & Ohio tribute ES44AH-1869 passes by with W/B train I-031 (North Bergen, NJ to Duval Yard - Jacksonville, FL). Here, on track two of CSX's Capital Sub at location PA. ES40DC-5494 is trailing. Above 1869's radiator, a B&O caboose, I-17A, C-2946, built in 1953, is on display along with a speeder. A sign next to the caboose says "The New Royal Blue Caboose. Linking 13 Great States with the Nation"

EXPLORED
I wanted to make a horizontally-oriented speeder after getting inspired by some others on here...I really like the look of it even if the colors aren't quite right. I'll probably keep developing this one.
