A Classic Pirate themed speeder bike for Captain Brickbeard built for the Themed Speeder Bikes Contest on FBTB.
This was my entry into RichboyJhae's Coruscant Speeder Contest.
It's my take on how deliveries are made on Coruscant. I loved this build and reimagining Amazon in another galaxy.
I wanted to make a horizontally-oriented speeder after getting inspired by some others on here...I really like the look of it even if the colors aren't quite right. I'll probably keep developing this one.
I know this is not the best photo, or even a particularly good one, but I don't own a backdrop large enough to photograph all of these cars together! This is my complete collection so far of official LEGO sets, modified builds, and full-on MOCs.

The High Speed Train was introduced in 1976 and forty years later it still looks the part. Arguably one of the most successful trains of all time it still performs as per its original specification, namely operating at 125mph. Whilst it's full potential is probably concentrated on services to Bristol Temple Meads and Cardiff Central, HST's nevertheless form core services on the West of England Mainline from Penzance and Plymouth to Paddington. On 7th May 2016 the recently re-liveried 'Great Western Railway' HST, with Class 43 Power Car No. 43187 leading, enters Plymouth North Road with 1A83 1000 Penzance - London Paddington. The view from the then new Cromwell Avenue bridge at Sankey Old Hall. 47597 speeds towards the Warrington stop on the former Cheshire Lines Liverpool - Manchester route with the 10.52 Liverpool - Newcastle. Behind me is the Junction for access into Burtonwood Airbase and the perimeter fence can be seen on the right, November 29th 1989.
* RAF Burtonwood was opened during WWII in 1940 but transferred to the USA in 1942. At one time 18,000 service men and women were on site and it became the largest airfield in Europe. The base was returned to the RAF after the war had ended.
The U.S. Department of Defence returned to Burtonwood in 1966 when France withdrew its military support for NATO. Burtonwood was used as a receiving depot for USAF and United States Army equipment and supplies being withdrawn from their former French NATO facilities. Afterwards, the US Army took over the base and renamed it Burtonwood Army Depot.
The Army developed Burtonwood into a storage and forward supply depot operated by the 47th Support Group. The main warehouse was described as the largest building under a single roof in Europe. The idea was that in the event of an emergency, U.S. troops in the USA that were earmarked for NATO service in Europe would fly over and pick up their kit from Burtonwood before going on to the battle front. It was never tested for this eventuality, although the base provided service functions for the 1991 Gulf War.
When the Cold War ended, Burtonwood Army Depot was declared excess to NATO requirements and was closed in June 1994.

Again my two-hand technique. Swooshing the speeder in one hand, holding the camera in the other one and turning around.... and suddenly realizing there are 5 people in the park looking in a very strange but curios way :-)
1950's Balda Mess-Baldix with Enna Ennagon 3.5/75mm on Ilford HP5+ 400 at box speed in XTOL stock for 8.5 mins @ 20C.
Shot this back in October 2016 and recently developed. The light was so great in Paris during that visit!
Updated render of my Snow and Sand speeders using the new Stud.io render engine.
There are some slight updates to the nose peices of the speeders due to some new parts that LEGO recently released.

The updated parts are all easily visible in the new render, so if anyone wanted to update their builds they shouldn't have much trouble.
Was in a Speed Champions mood this morning. I think I got them all built now in LDD. We have a few of them now. This series has def influenced a lot of builders. The "speed champions" style has created a bunch of alternate builds here on Flickr and MocPages. :)
Camera mounted in back of car using a long-ish exposure driving down Buckstones road in Oldham and voilla, little detail i know but i moved my speed dial up with a little help of photoshop just for my own peace of mind to justify the motion blur.
Woot! My first lightning of 2012. And it happened at Craters of the Moon National Monument, Idaho. Tough storm to shoot because it was accompanied by extreme wind, strong enough to blow over my tripod and camera. And an important daylight shoot as I wanted to experiment with the use of new Lee graduated neutral density filters to slow my shutter speed. And then it was a disappointing shoot in that the lightning was sparse and scattered, not what I am used to when shooting New Mexico storms.
