Another photo from the Hong Kong tunnel taken from the second deck of a double decker bus. We obviously hit a bump durign the taking of the photo but I think it still gives an interesting effect. Details: f3.2 for 2 seconds. Another photo taken a short while later without the bump.
In the depths of the summer forest, the sun will set, the forest will be surrounded by the darkness ... The beautiful light dance of the Princess firefly will begin in the darkness where no one enters his feet. It is a shine of life of only 10 days on a summer evening. Shutter speed It is a picture of a composite of several photographs taken for 20 seconds.

Overflying Milan, on our way to Moscow for an overnight flight. Photo taken at 1 o'clock at night. I had no tripod, so the only solution was to place the camera on the dashboard and hit the shutter button, and bump the ISO up a little bit. I will try to bring the tripod with me next time, so I can try out different angles.

In the Aquazone, the fight for control of the crystal mines doesn't always take place underwater. With the Aquanaut's NS2 and the Aquashark's DX5, the surface of the sea is just as fiercely contested.
These two speeders were created for the FBTB Themed Speeder Bike contest. These were designed for the Aquazone theme.

Everybody's speeder needs a tuneup every so often, even those living on the smuggler's moon of Nar Shaddaa. Here in the Twi'lek Veenac'ebla's shop, her professionals will get your ride back on the streets again in no time, ready to speed you away from the scene of your latest escapade. Modifications by her crack team can give your ride that extra bit of zip to evade the heat when you need it most.

My first Star Wars build, I present my entry into Eurobricks' annual May the Fourth contest.
A few more pics of the Hover-Speeder from yesterday.
And loving those new wheel hubs. They're just perfect for spaceship engines :D
Aside from magnets, the most iconic elements of M-Tron are the industrial prints, which inspired the greebles on the sides. I thought this fig would want a speeder with beefy, pickup truck energy.

Good night of wool burning and light painting with My mate Jonathan last night. Set up at this bridge and waited about 15 mins for a train to pass, caught by surprise by the first one but luckily 5 mins later a 125 came past and we managed to catch this.

Not sure, but I believe this is a speed selector...the handle slides side to side to engage either the larger, or smaller sprocket. Here it's engaged to the large one. Seen at the National Museum of Industrial History.

Possibly the biggest, baddest, most bulbous speeder bike to emerge from the drawing boards of Llwyngwril Systems. The Turbinia was based around a massive turbine.
Centuries later, all the evidence left for its existence are these four archive photos. They leave many questions unanswered:
Was the giant turbine some form of centrifugal compressor? If so, were did the all of air go? The nozzles on the rear of the bike are quite small.
As the turbine made up a considerable part of the mass of the speeder bike and was effectively a large gyroscope, how the Turbinia generate enough turning force to manoeuvre?
How did the pilot get up to the cockpit?
The mechanics of the anti-gravity systems needed for the Turbinia to hover are, of course, simple and well known.
There are some old Southern Railway style posters on display in some of the waiting rooms at Purley station. This 'South For Winter Sunshine' poster depicts a steam locomotive at speed. Outside the window a modern day 'Southern' class 377 formation speeds past on platform 2 heading south.
Shopping break
When I’m at the office, I try to take walk breaks. Now that I’m downtown, they can be shopping breaks, too! I finally restocked on my favorite Anthropologie perfume, La Vanille.
Don’t be fooled by the heeled sandals. I was passing folks right and left on the downtown sidewalks. I was on a speed walk from the light rail station to the office. (I was a bit slower on the way home.)
