Not far from Diano Castello, a little inland, is a beautiful villa behind an avenue of cypress trees. Next to it is the Chiesa di Nostra Signora della Neve. But that's the name of many chapels here, even though it hardly ever snows. And this in the picture is the wall arrangement and the shadow play of the Chiesa.

La Cattedrale di Nostra Signora di Kazan è una chiesa ortodossa russa che si trova all’angolo nordest della Piazza Rossa di Mosca. Viene menzionata per la prima volta nei registri storici del 1625. Tuttavia, la cattedrale attuale è una ricostruzione della chiesa originale, dato che quest’ultima è stata distrutta su ordine di Stalin nel 1936.
Dopo lo scioglimento dell’Unione Sovietica, la Cattedrale di Kazan è stata la prima ad essere ricostruita fra gli anni 1990 e 1993. Il restauro è stato patrocinato dalla sede moscovita della Società Russa per la Preservazione Storica e l’Organizzazione Culturale ed è stata basata sulle misure e su fotografie dettagliate della chiesa originale.

Ero in stazione di una bella mattinata autunnale, sotto la pensilina.
Il treno era fermo. Nessuno al suo interno, che era buio.
La signora ne aspettava un altro, seduta sulla panchina di fronte al vagone dalle bellissime (e pulitissime ;) grandi finestre.
Sono stata colpita dal riflesso di luce e dal significato che per me aveva e ha l'immagine che mi si é presentata improvvisamente davanti.

At Piazza Navona, Rome. The church on the right is the Baroque church Sant'Agnese in Agone and the fountain is Fontana del Nettuno (Fountain of Neptune).
There is actually one more church to spot in this picture - but it looks so much less grand, that it is easy to miss. On the left side, almost at the end of the piazza, next to a covered up building, there is a white facade. That is the church Nostra Signora del Sacro Cuore.

無止盡的晨昏~ Chapter 待續篇
碎碎念複習篇: 韋爾納扎（Vernazza）是義大利西北部利古里亞大區拉斯佩齊亞省的一個市鎮，是五鄉地區域5個城鎮之一。面積12平方公里，人口1001人，一整個就是嬌小的漁村ㄚ。
而村中的主要景點如下：
#聖瑪加利大教堂（Santa Margherita d'Antiochia），始建於1318年，有一個八角形的鐘樓，就是圖中中間偏右側那個白色的塔樓。
#多里亞城堡 - 建於15世紀，以防禦海盜，就是圖中左側山崖上的那顆石砌塔樓。
#聖母朝聖地（Santuario di Nostra Signora di Reggio），位於韋爾納紮上方約半小時陡峭的路程，就是照片右側山壁的後方，還真的有很多觀光客慕名而來~
#西北側的海灘~ 恩，剛好被遮住了~XD 其實，也是很多蜜月夫妻放閃光的地方!
Dal pontile del Marine Club (il mio Resort a Boa Vista) vedevo questo piccolo rudere che si staccava nettamente dal resto del panorama brullo e roccioso. Mi incuriosiva non poco, così chiesi informazioni e venni a sapere che si trattava delle rovine di una chiesa cattolica. Il suo nome era stato "Nostra Signora di Fatima" e, dopo essere stata abbandonata dai fedeli, era diventata ospizio di donne di piacere e loro clienti, cosa che poi l'aveva fatta sconsacrare e distruggere. Così presi la Nikon e feci una passeggiata di qualche chilometro per riprenderla

From the Marine Club pier (my Resort in Boa Vista) I could see this small ruin that stood out clearly from the rest of the barren and rocky landscape. I was quite curious, so I asked for information and learned that it was the ruins of a Catholic church. Its name had been "Nossa Senhora de Fátima" and, after being abandoned by the faithful, it had become a hospice for women of pleasure and their clients, which then led to it being deconsecrated and destroyed. So I took my Nikon and made a walk for a few kilometers to to take some photos

... every two months, my Provincial Health Authority of Messina (Sicily) sends me on a mission for three days (from Taormina) to the Civil Hospital of Lipari, located in via Saint Anne ... In my spare time, free from commitments of work, I dedicate myself to my photographic passion; the photographs I present here were all taken in February of this year 2022; I took photos according to the dictates of street photography, I made some portraits, having always met people in the hand and very willing to let themselves be photographed (maybe ... that the islanders are open-minded, eager and used to communicate with strangers ..?!), some portraits were made of people intent on their work, some fishermen were intent on repairing their nets, a lady showed me one of her beautiful work, a blanket she made with knitting needles , hanging on her balcony (it reminded me of the shawls my grandmother made, also made with hand knitting needles); all the photos were taken in the city of Lipari, except three, taken in the dark in the port of Milazzo, the port of departure and arrival with hydrofoils (but there is also the ship) for the Aeolian Islands.
….ogni due mesi, la mia Azienda Sanitaria Provinciale di Messina, mi manda in missione per tre giorni (da Taormina) all’Ospedale Civile di Lipari, situato in via Sant’Anna …Nei ritagli di tempo, libero dagli impegni di lavoro, mi dedico alla mia passione fotografica; le fotografie che qui presento sono state tutte realizzate nel mese di febbraio di quest’anno 2022; ho realizzato foto secondo i dettami della fotografia di strada (street photography), ho realizzato alcuni ritratti, avendo incontrato sempre persone alla mano e molto disponibili nel lasciarsi fotografare (sarà forse…che la gente isolana è di mentalità aperta, desiderosa ed abituata a comunicare con gli estranei..?!), alcuni ritratti sono stati eseguiti a persone intente nei loro lavori, alcuni pescatori erano intenti a riparare le loro reti, una signora mi ha mostrato un suo bellissimo lavoro, una coperta da lei realizzata coi ferri a maglia, appesa nel suo balcone (mi ricordava gli scialli che realizzava mia nonna, anch’essi realizzati coi ferri a mano); tutte le foto sono state realizzate nella città di Lipari, tranne tre, realizzate col buio nel porto di Milazzo, scalo di partenza e di arrivo con gli aliscafi (ma c’è anche la nave) per le isole Eolie.
