Old gas station sign, on US1 in North Carolina, just south of the Virginia state line. This is the south side of the sign. You can see the other side in my reply to Roberto41144, below, in the Comments :-)
This family-owned bakery was founded in 1904 and is currently being run by the fourth and fifth generation owners. Been wanting to shoot this sign forever. Made a special trip to get it. Great South O steak house - been there for years, though I've never been inside. Probably should before it goes away. Looks very old-school inside.

The long neon arrow is cool, too lol
Beauty Bar in the East Village just celebrated its 20-year anniversary this spring. This theme #bar was created in 1995 when Paul Devitt found the former "Thomas Beauty Salon" on 14th Street. The 40-year old #hair #salon had all of its original chrome-domed hair dryers and chandeliers and its original #signage which was all kept in place. You can get a #manicure and a drink at this bar and enjoy looking all of the #retro salon items. #storefront #disappearingfaceofnewyork #sign #signgeeks #eastvillage #ipullledoverforthis #beautybar #beauty
There is still what appears to be a garage on the site with the name "Nevills Bros" on it, but that building and this amazing old neon-and-bulb roadside sign appear to be the only remnants of what was once a garage and gas station. (The info I found online says the gas station closed in 2005, after being in operation for 58 years.)
This sign just caught my eye as we drove by and I wasn't even sure what I saw, so we turned around -- luckily -- to check it out.

I was positive I had driven along US 20A before, near Buffalo in Perry NY, but after spotting this beautiful old blue neon Ford sign, I am second-guessing myself because I KNOW I would remember this!
It was late on a Saturday afternoon and this small dealer was closed, but it looked like an active business.

Chicago, IL -- the word "restaurant" features vintage bulbs and the rest is vintage neon. Great old sign :-)
Lenox Lounge in Harlem was founded in 1939 by the Greco family. It was named for its location on Lenox Avenue in #Harlem. Billie Holiday, John Coltrane and Miles Davis performed in this iconic #jazz club. Alvin Reed purchased the lounge in 1988 and restored much of its original #ArtDeco interior including the famous "Zebra Room" where live music 🎶 was played nightly. Sadly, #LenoxLounge was forced to close in 2012 after the rent was increased from $10,000 to $20,000 a month. Alvin Reed took the original #neonsign and much of the interior in hopes that he could reopen the club at another location but to this date, Lenox Lounge has not reopened. Lanza's Restaurant was established in 1904 by Michele Lanza. Lanza's is reported to have been a favorite #Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant of the Genovese, Bonanno and Gambino crime families. 🍝 In 1993, Woody Allen used the restaurant to film a scene for his movie "Manhattan Murder Mystery. We live its #vintage stained glass windows and #sign. Sadly, the restaurant has been closed for a while and it's status is uncertain. Photo and full interview with 4th generation family member appears in our book "Store Front II-A History a Preserved." #storefront #signgeeks #disappearingfaceofnewyork #signcollective #signage #tv_retro #gas_food_lodging
