Met the owners of Shifted Cinema who were flying one bad-ass helicopter with a video camera mounted below the body at Kirkland Junior High. Weylin controlled the chopper while Ethan manned the video controls. Quite an impressive setup.

Over 5,000 young climate leaders joined AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, Cherri Foytlin of Gulf Change, and 350.org co-founder Bill McKibben at a polluter protest in front of the White House this Monday. They demanded that the President and Congress stand up to Big Polluters, protect the Clean Air Act, and make corporate polluters like BP pay for their pollution.

From the "Archives", I know, I know... but I love tilt shift. This was an early attempt at it. I was really pleased with the rod blurred but the fly line frozen. It reminded me of a view-master image.
I figured everyone's already seen plenty of shots of the Golden Gate Bridge so I wanted to do something a little different. One fake tilt-shift, coming right up!
I've been messing around with fake tilt shift photography. Basically the effect creats the illusion that you're looking at a model. There's load of pics on Flickr

The shift key's location is unknown. Z pops off when you so much as brush past it. Useful for at best one Americanism per hour.

A little fun with filters on my camera called Diorama, another name for this style is called tilt shift and it works best if you can get up high and shoot downwards, as if you were looking at a scaled model of something. I hope that I am not using your kindness too soon, but I have a creative meeting tomorrow morning at which I need to present a concept for our next series.
It is on the final words of Jesus in John 16-17. The series is called Shift because what happened in His final days shifted the entire world and changed everything from that point on.
Just going for a graphic, text driven concept here. Thought the red would invoke the blood and the brown the cross without being a slap in the face.
