OK, This isn't the greatest photo but you get the idea. People have been asking how I do this. You can check out this post on how I did it. It is much easier than you think and much cheaper than a new Tilt Shift Lens.

They demanded that the President and Congress stand up to Big Polluters, protect the Clean Air Act, and make corporate polluters like BP pay for their pollution.

Just messing around with photoshopping the tilt-shift lens effect. This was shot on vacation 2 years ago while waiting to switch planes on the way to Minnesota. Taken on a point n' shoot!
Tilt shift of the lowery building thing. Uploaded purely because I found taking pictures in manchester at night really challenging.
(Tilt shift. Colour may be slightly off, colour corrected on an old monitor. Would be nice to have a good camera and 4k monitor.)
I often wish for a quieter life, one that I could have if I just kept my mouth shut and let things go as they would go.
But I don't do that and I find myself taking on tasks that are not only under tight schedules but I have no actual knowledge on how to accomplish them. And sometimes they are being watched over by the people that may reward success, but certainly punish failure.
So I'm in the middle of it all right now and I must shift to a different frame of mind to succeed. Success is important since I like what I do for the most part.
But somehow, I feel like I have some dirt to shovel out of the boss's ditch.

the wind was blowing it's merry chuttles off today. The sand blowing across the shore and water as if they were the same thing. A couple of shots fired at a distance then safely back in the bag
Experimenting with fake tilt-shifting using the GIMP. Alas, I've only got a Gaussian blur at the moment. Time to search for a proper focal blur plugin.
I like the angle of this one (very Spiderman) but the light level is perhaps too low.
