reassembly.
1. Thumb shifter goes through bottom of housing from the inside.
2. Attache main sprinng -- best done by attaching it then winding the thumb shifter round about 1 turn. Hold everything in place with one hand.
3. Put the tooth in place
4. Put the fine spring in place so that it pushes the tooth outwards (the coil goes over a small pin in the thumb shifter)
5. Put on the cap plate on, locating the pivot post in the tooth

Bluring on purpose for Our Daily Challenge. This is an “art filter’ built into my Olympus E-PL1 camera. I know it blurs the shot so, I thought I’d give it a go - on purpose. It works better from a greater height and more of a cityscape, but is suposed to mimic a tilt-shift lens and give the impression of a toy landscape. Fun to try, would be better in the City, but thanks for the daily challenge for reminding me I had the filter.
Just messing around with photoshopping the tilt-shift lens effect. This was shot on vacation 2 years ago while waiting to switch planes on the way to Minnesota. Taken on a point n' shoot!

They demanded that the President and Congress stand up to Big Polluters, protect the Clean Air Act, and make corporate polluters like BP pay for their pollution.

a shift in the wind brings you home;
everything has changed.
everything is gone.
all you can find is the ruin
of what you never knew
was destroyed.
I often wish for a quieter life, one that I could have if I just kept my mouth shut and let things go as they would go.
But I don't do that and I find myself taking on tasks that are not only under tight schedules but I have no actual knowledge on how to accomplish them. And sometimes they are being watched over by the people that may reward success, but certainly punish failure.
So I'm in the middle of it all right now and I must shift to a different frame of mind to succeed. Success is important since I like what I do for the most part.
But somehow, I feel like I have some dirt to shovel out of the boss's ditch.
