After a long day at Six Flags Great America. Some of us are wet and all of us are tired but we all had fun.
Inside the De Young Museum in Golden Gate Park, San Francsico... a wire sculpture by Ruth Asawa, which caught my eye...
Noticed these shadows on a recent bike ride to Cal Poly Pomona.
Thanks for your views, comments and critiques, much appreciated!

Waterbugs cast interesting shadows on the floor of a wilderness pool. These bugs are "skaters" with 4 feet touching the the water - surface tension holding them up. They are hard to see, but their feet indentations on the surface cast circular shadows in the shallow pool. They are surrounded by the concentric light and shadows from their own ripples as they dart about.

Shadow is a 3 month old cocker spaniel that was previously owned by a breeder. Poor little Shadow broke his leg - a very serious break -and the breeder did have not the financial means to have the leg repaired. - either putting him to sleep or amputing his leg were the options the breeder was considering. So, thankfully the breeder contacted Atlanta Pet Rescue and little Shadow is having his surgery today, which will cost about $1700.. This image and two others were taken for the website. Please visit www.atlantapetrescue.org to see the wonderful pets currently available for adoption.
This week was tough for me. I had some great ideas but sprained my ankle and lost momentum. I was also thoroughly intimidated by the quality of work which has already been uploaded this week. You guys are brilliant!
