This shadow is from one of a group of 11 "soldier lights" that encircle the War Memorial Cenotaph at Victory Square Park. It was part of a redevelopement project that was completed in 2004. The light fixtures are designed to resemble the shape of the steel helmets worn in WWI.

Shadows getting long. Knole Park.

Knole House is an English country house in the civil parish of Sevenoaks in west Kent. Sevenoaks consists of the town itself and then Knole Park, a 1,000-acre (4.0 km2) park, within which the house is situated.
I had this tattoo done on my ribs a couple of weeks ago - now it has healed I decided to photograph it.
It says "pour ce que je suis et ce que je pouvoir devenir" which translates as "for what I am and what I am able to become" - it was a 25th birthday present to myself and my first tattoo.
It was only after looking closely at it like this that I realised the tattoo artist left the dot off the "i" in "suis" - that must have been when I swore at him and broke his concentration!
