Two Grey Seals playing around in the sea as the sun was setting at Donna Nook/UK,hope you like them.
Looking west along the Santa Cruz river bed, north of Tucson Arizona. The Tucson Mountains are silhouetted as the sun dips down below the range.

Now that we're getting closer to Spring, the setting sun is once again starting to come through the dining room window. I love how it looked on Shizandra's coat.
The opening in the western skies helped produces intense anti-crepuscular rays for about 5 minutes. Taken at 7:07PM.

I was driving by the church at the end of my street just as the sun was setting. It was just glowing in the sun so I had to stop.This church was built in the mid 1800's and has an interesting design, All the windows and doors are peaked and it has a very steep slope on the roof.

Taken at the Newport Beach Boardwalk, this was transpiring before all of us - seemingly the intersection of man and nature. I really liked the sun hitting the trunk of the car. I loved the magical light and silhouetted palm trees. A perfect southern California day's end!

I just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone! I hope that all is well here in Flickrland! I have been having withdraw from being able to see all the amazing photos and from posting some as well!! I am trying to find some time to not run around like a chicken with its head cut off so that I can get onto here, but it's been a bit rough..... All this homework is frying my noodle... ^_^

The amazing Meteora rock formation + cloisters inThessaly, Greece. Panorama of six exposures. The place was packed but fortunately most of the other tourists left right when the sun set. Huge mistake ;-) Taken just after the sun disappeared behind the mountains.
A fabulous Sunset from our recent trip down in Dorset. Driving along the road I just had to pull over and position myself for this shot of the Sun Setting through a gate into a field.

Tonight there was a very pretty sunset at the conclusion of a warm, summer day. Luckily when I took a late afternoon stroll, I took my camera with me so that I could capture the glorious reddish orange hues that filled the skies and gilded the clouds.
Back in England to enjoy the summer. Setting sun, down by the sea at Wescliff, Essex.
