Postcard for our three new worship styles and services at our church. I was trying to do something different than the usual "organ, piano, guitar" motif. I thought just using color and brush strokes to display the different services would be visually more interesting. But, I could be way off. Any thoughts or critique is definitely welcome

MOC: Auto Service. A modern interpretation of the classic set 646 by the same name.
The driver - a female mechanic, obviously, times have moved on - has quite the arsenal of tools in that rear compartment. And yes - it does all fit in there!
She's also got a searchlight mounted to the rear of the car, so she can see what she's doing when helping stranded motorists at night. Like this guy here - maybe you can see which old set the car he's driving is an update of...? Coming soon :)

Clover Valley Lumber Co. #4, a 2-6-6-2T compound, articulated, saddle-tanker gets a little attention from her crew, as she waits with her local freight on the Mission Bridge (MP 29.6) just outside the Niles Yard for the passage of a log train. This scene was one of many created along the 6.5 mile stretch of track between Niles and Sunol, CA, as part of a February, 2020 Lerro Productions photo shoot.
Not quite as sharp as it might be but I like this image because it shows a bit of activity in a scene long since consigned to the history books.

In the Philippines, you don't go to lunch. Lunch goes to you. Pass by any big offices or buildings and you see a smalltime "catering" service right at your doorstep. Today, I and an officemate went to the Cebu City Hall to get our SRP (South Reclamation Project) sticker passes at the 8th floor of the new building. It was near lunchtime and EVERY floor landing (we did not use the elevators- good exercise!!!) there was a spread of lunch viands. On our way out, she checked out the food and bought a pouch of hot squash in coconut milk (tinunuan nga kalbasa). Later she swore it was the best she had for quite sometime. The price- just 7 pesos or US$0.13.
Maybe she's on to something. I like it best when she got such service with a SMILE.
