FT 9001, an AEC Reliance with Weymann bodywork had originally been part of the Wakefield's branded fleet, the name being carried by a handful of the Northen General's Tynemouth subsidiary. By the time this was taken it can't have been far off disposal as it was new in July 1955, this must have been taken late 1967 at the earliest. It does look to have had a fairly recent visit to the paintshop but is quite old for a vehicle working a longer distance express service. Photographer not known. (Collection).
