one of the first serially produced gasoline stations in Europe ...
mein geliebter Richard Buckminster Fuller

The killer lurked in the shadows at the top of the stairs for the next person to trip over his foot. He waited in silence.

Ostrava, 3 September 1989.
This very old MiG-21U was used to test ejection seats. It actually did this during the show, but I was not ready to take a photo.
The test unit was VZLÚ, Vzduchoplavecký Studijní Ústav. This means Aeronautical Study Centre of the Ministry of Defence. OK-016 is the test registration, the military serial number was 0816.
This MiG is now preserved in fantasy colours in the city of Ostrava.
1984 Porsche 956B #956-117
Intensively campaigned during three seasons (1984, 1985, 1986), 956-117 scored 14 wins for the Joest Racing including Le Mans 24 hours 1984 & 1985, 1000 km Fuji 1986, 500 km Kyalami 1986 and 10 Interserie victories.
These two back-to-back victories at La Sarthe with the same race number #7 justify its nickname : "Lucky Seven". It is part of Reinhold Joest's private collection.

the little bears are sweet eatable gums: 'Goldbären' (Gold-Bears) and i think they have a nice glasslike-look when they are wetly. (it's a possible way to make 'yummmy' pics ;) )

Yankee Lady is a B-17G–110–VE, bearing USAAF serial number 44-85829. The airplane was built by the Vega Division of Lockheed Aircraft Corporation at Burbank, California and was delivered to the USAAF on July 16, 1945. It went to Dallas, Texas for modifications and in September 1945 was placed in storage at South Plains Field, Texas along with other brand new B-17s. The YAM is certain that this aircraft did not fly combat missions during World War II.
In 1946 the aircraft was one of 16 “Flying Fortresses” that were transferred to the U.S. Coast Guard. These aircraft were re-designated PB-1Gs, “P” signifying patrol, “B” denoting designed by Boeing, “1” for the first model of the type and “G” for Coast Guard. This particular aircraft then became PB-1G serial number 77255. All of the guns and turrets were removed, and a radar dome was installed in the position formerly occupied by the chin turret. It was used for air-sea rescue and iceberg patrol duties out of Argentina, Newfoundland, Elizabeth North Carolina and San Francisco, California. At one time it carried an air droppable, 27 foot long 3300 pound wooden lifeboat under the fuselage for rescuing people stranded at sea. This aircraft was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard in 1958.

Leeuwarden, 13 August 2021.
Hunter N-294 is stationed at Leeuwarden and is flown by the Dutch Hawker Hunter Foundation. It's flight was the highlight of the day!
N-294 is former RAF Hunter XF515 and has the civilian registration G-KAXF.
N-294 was not a real serial number. The highest numbered Dutch Hunter F.6 was N-293.
