Lovely old Royal Aircraft Establishment Douglas Dakota ZA947 on display at the 1981 International Air Tattoo held at RAF Greenham Common
Built in 1942, she was transferred under the Lend Lease program and as '661' served with the Royal Canadian Air Force until 1969
Transferred to the RAF and given KG661 it was later realised this serial had previously been allocated to a Dakota that was lost
Re-serialed as ZA947 she then went on the strength of the RAE where she served for 23 years
The BBMF eventually acquired her using her tail-dragging layout to advantage when training their Lancaster pilots
In 2017 ZA947 celebrated her 75th Birthday

Intensively campaigned during three seasons (1984, 1985, 1986), 956-117 scored 14 wins for the Joest Racing including Le Mans 24 hours 1984 & 1985, 1000 km Fuji 1986, 500 km Kyalami 1986 and 10 Interserie victories.
These two back-to-back victories at La Sarthe with the same race number #7 justify its nickname : "Lucky Seven". It is part of Reinhold Joest's private collection.

Old steam machine called Krutwig, made in 1957. Krutwig serial number U 29.101 is the last operating model ČKD 900 BS 200 in Slovakia, serving children narrow gauge railway in Košice.
both started from Serial Experiment Lain dolls that i had for more than 10yrs, like back when i first got into the hobby. one had faded and the other had yellowed a scary amount. i repainted the yellowed one (because it was the paint on her face that had yellowed) and pinkened the faded one slightly.
they're both on SnapStar bodies.
i had got the AA SnapStar because i wanted one doll with that size head to wear the few CW wigs i've kept, and i really like the facemold and screening on the Dawn doll more than any LIV i had.
the AA body coincidentally matched the Lain head i'd painted... so i discovered i just really like this combination, and did the pale one the same way.
they wear clothes from bratz, MH, pinkie cooper dolls, and mr.z zootopia action figures. they wear shoes from only hearts club and MC2
