Eastbound TV-6 charges by Percy Hill Road on a fine September morning outside of Chatham NY. This is the railfan spot known as “Englishman’s Curve” set between Boston Line control points CP-176 and CP-171 and remains a strategic meeting spot between eastbound and westbounds. " The Bothy " Powis Castle Grounds and Gardens. Side view, [ Full views to come ] This is a half timbered cottage built in 1908 when it became the trend to have garden cottages. The interior is Edwardian.

There were about 8 Standard size trees in a row, with different stages of growth on the fruits
Sunrise at Herbert Lake, near Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Canada.
A bit of snowfall in mid September is not that unusual for Lake Louise, but it was nevertheless a little surprise. A very pleasant surprise, as the mountains looked great freshly snow-capped.

This outing to the local woods keeps on giving. The misty conditions opened up lots of compositions. After saying I don’t normally include people in my images, I did it again! I couldn’t miss this couple, almost identically dressed and contrasting against the green of the trees. To me it demonstrates how small we are in the scheme of nature!
