Eastbound TV-6 charges by Percy Hill Road on a fine September morning outside of Chatham NY. This is the railfan spot known as “Englishman’s Curve” set between Boston Line control points CP-176 and CP-171 and remains a strategic meeting spot between eastbound and westbounds. Behind the C39-7A 6570 is war wagon straight GP38 CR 7722. 09-22-96

The sun shines high above

The sounds of laughter

The birds swoop down upon

The crosses of old grey churches

We say that we're in love

While secretly wishing for rain

Sipping Coke and playing games

September's here again

September's here again

It's definitely autumn

There were about 8 Standard size trees in a row, with different stages of growth on the fruits

A bit of snowfall in mid September is not that unusual for Lake Louise, but it was nevertheless a little surprise. A very pleasant surprise, as the mountains looked great freshly snow-capped.

Crossers

This outing to the local woods keeps on giving. The misty conditions opened up lots of compositions. After saying I don’t normally include people in my images, I did it again! I couldn’t miss this couple, almost identically dressed and contrasting against the green of the trees. To me it demonstrates how small we are in the scheme of nature!
