September is such a beautiful time of year in Wisconsin. – With the warmth of Summer during the day, and the refreshing coolness of Autumn at night, this month seems to be able to capture and present for us so many of the most wonderful qualities of enjoying the outdoors here in the upper Midwest.
This 2009 photograph of an old white dairy barn surrounded by sunflowers will always be one of my September favorites. ~~ A Jeff Hampton Photograph ©
I was at the English Gardens this past weekend and surprisingly most of the plants/flowers still look quite good for this time of year. Our very warm September might have something to do with that.
I counted 8 wedding parties taking pictures that day!
The little buzzer in this foxglove was a surprise, he was just coming out when I snapped this pic.
The last little rose, which I found in the garden of my mother-in-law :)

I've been half asleep all day, and in the mood for black and white portraits, but this sweater was too colorful to even think about B&W :P (It's also the most comfortable sweater, and I wanna live in it forever)

Taken just before the sun set, and just after the sea- blown moorland mists fell for the evening. This image is unprocessed and true to life in every way - partly to show Exmoor as it really is and partly from lack of time recently.. Apologies to contacts; i'm hoping to catch up in the weekend. Best wishes to all Flickr friends :)
