A collage I just made for my Facebook cover, with September memories from the previous years.

Even though summer is over, nice September days can be really pleasant as well here in the north. So let's hope that the rainy period that's forecasted from tomorrow on doesn't last too long.

Enjoy September!

De herfstkleuren waren vroeg dit jaar. In Hoorn kleurden de bomen langs deze gracht al begin september herfstachtig.

The fall colors were early this year. In Hoorn, the trees along this canal turned at the beginning of September already autumnal.

...it's that time of year...September (sometimes it's August)...when my Canon 7D or my Canon lens decides to break down...this year, it's the Lens. Finally, last year, DH ordered a new camera and lens...with a special warranty...breathing a sigh of relief, after a frustrating few days! Someday, I will stop click-click-clicking...and my gear will love me for it. But for now, I have two of everything, and one of my lenses will head to repair!

I DO love sundowns!

I love this time of year.

I do love this place. Haven't been here in a while, but it is worth it every time I go.

As if to enhance our memories, Mother Nature provided us today with a carbon copy of that crystal clear, deep blue, cloudless sky we saw on the morning of September 11, 2001. This shot is SOOC, looking north into the sky over Fairfax Station, VA.

Comments always appreciated, as long as you keep it clean - I love to hear your feedback! xx

There's a thing they do in Instagram called #transformationtuesday where girls post before and after pictures of stages of their transition, or sometimes pre-transition to now.

There are pretty much no photos of me before I started to transition (what a contrast to now, LOL!) so I decided to do a panoramic image from September 2018, September 2019 and September 2020.

This gives some idea of the changes made by my transitioning - both hormones (over 2 years now and they are magic) and also laser hair removal does make a big difference to the smoothness of my face.
