I can't remember where this photo came from but it looks like one of Terry Baker's - SWTs official photographer who worked at Ravenhill and took photos of new vehicles for SWT. I wonder what happened to all the prints and negs?

These are some of the orphans who are being raised at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust's Nairobi Nursery. The nursery is where the orphaned baby elephants are initially brought to be raised among other orphans as well as by their amazing keepers. They remain in the nursery until they are old enough and ready to move up to one of the Reintegration units where they will eventually return to the wild. The SWT has a wonderful foster program where you can "adopt" an orphan (or two) www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/

Distinctive caterpillar, head very round, neck seemed very narrow and rear end had two protrusions. Will seek out id in my trusty (expensive!) caterpillar book.
