SWT Cl.483006 stands on the depot road outside Ryde St. John's Road depot not in use, next to withdrawn unit Cl.483002 "Raptor", still displaying its Dinosaur name from the early 2000s when the fleet were in the controversial dinosaur livery.
Despite unit 002 being repainted into LT Red, the unit does still retain the dinosaur blue on the car window pillars.
As a bonus point, unit 002, when painted into LT Red did not initially receive yellow ends, these being added afterwards, although it's not believed to have ever run since its repaint.

SWT Cl.483008 approaches the line's terminus at Shanklin on an Island Line service from Ryde Pier Head.
We did an up on Wednesday, up and up and up. Then down and down and down even further. Backwoods Near Gradbach Staffordshire Moorlands UK SWT looks after this now. A few beehives might be useful up here, the Heather was in full flower and yet we saw very few bees. We saw 6 Meadow Pipits.
This view is looking the other way from the sheep photo.

Another lovely species to watch and photograph from the SWT visitor centre at Montrose Basin. Not the sharpest of shots and heavily cropped, but happy enough even to have seen this one and specially the Bittern too in the space of half an hour. (Yeah and all from the comfort of the heated visitor centre!)
