Naff photo, taken with the 50mm, and I can write what I want here because not many people will care about some old, rare, and rather quite expensive Ferrari.
Just realised after uploading, my white balance is totally out, the building shouldn't be blue!

I took this photograph at the Christie's International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1992 where there was a special display of Ferraris in the paddock numbered 1 to 32, and a page in the programme of the event gave details of each of the cars. Unfortunately all that the note for number 8 says is 'California'. It is a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder, a shorter chassis version of the earlier LWB car, and has the 2,953cc Gioacchino Colombo designed V12 engine. This car is chassis 2377GT which was owned for a long time by Hollywood film star James Coburn, and between 2008 and 2010 by Chris Evans.

RML Short Wheelbase (2022) Engine 5500cc V12 naturally aspirated 485bhp
Production 30 (limited)
Registration Number 7 VPG
Designed and built by RML (more Later) the RML Shortwheelbase is described as a homage to the Ferrari 250 GT SWB built between 1959 and 1962 with 167 copies built, and if your pockets are deep enough would set you back around £ 10 to £ 15 million pounds. Which makes the RML SWB a steal at a mere £ 1.6 million pounds.
The Short Wheelbase, designed as a coupé, was presented in May 2021 after around three years of development. with series production beginning late 2021 early 2022, and limited to just 30 cars. The design follows the lines of the 250 GT SWB with (or without), the shape of the radiator grille, the missing bumpers and its air scoop in the bonnet, however the multi-spoke wheels does not have wing nuts. The new car is also slightly larger, designed to fit modern drivers, rather than racing drivers. The Short Wheelbase also does not use any plastic in the interior. Instead, aluminium, glass and leather are used. In contrast to the 250 GT SWB, the car has air conditioning and a navigation system, which can be lowered into the centre console.
And it is a Ferrari at heart based on the Ferrari 550 Maranello built between 1996 and 2001. It is equipped with a 5.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine with 357 kW (485 hp), driving through a six speed manual gearbox. The Coupé accelerate to 100 kilometres per hour (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds, the top speed is specified at 185mph (298 kmph)
RML
The RML SWB is built by industry specialist RML the company established by Ray Mallock and now run by his son Michael. The company was founded in 1984 purely as a motorsport business, initially concentrating on the Mallock sports racing cars, and specialist work directly for manufacturers, entering racing car versions of their production cars. The company helped develop the privateer Aston Martin-powered Nimrod NRA/C2 for Group C, the C2 race cars for Ecurie Ecosse, the Aston Martin AMR-1., the Nissan R90CK Le Mans programme. RML Mallock P20 Supersports, Saleen S7 supercar that raced in the European Le Mans Series, winning the Spanish GT Championship overall in 2002. In 2004. Also in 2004, RML ran an MG-Lola EX257 in the Le Mans 24 Hours and Le Mans Endurance Series. The MG-Lola EX264, which won Le Mans in the LMP2 class in 2005 and 2006. In 2012, RML developed a new engine on behalf of Nissan for the unique Nissan DeltaWing RML, in conjunction with Nissan Motorsport for the Le Mans 24 hours and Petit Le Mans. And RML have runcars over the years for numerous manufacturers in the BTCC
RML's engineering skills were used in road-going cars for the first time in 1990, when the company built a small number of Ford GT40 replicas. In 1999 the Opel Astra Concept DTM, a road-going prototype based on the Opel Astra Coupé the German company would debut the following year, and the ground up design of the Saleen S7. Later cars include Aston Martin continuation cars, McLaren’s Senna GTR the Lotus Emira GT4 and a a road-legal converted version of the Aston Martin Vulcan
