GAZA, PALESTINE, April 13 - Following a Sunday morning worship service, members of the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Porphyrius, which turned 1,707 this year, held a procession marking Palm Sunday, the Christian feast that celebrates Jesus' triumphal entry to Jerusalem. The festivities come a week before Pascha, or Easter, which will be celebrated next Sunday, April 20, in an unusual convergence of the Eastern and Western church calendars. (Photo by Joe Catron)
