It is Sunday and the demolition of SuperValu has halted temporarily, so all is quiet. Most of the building is gone, but the most beautiful part, the curtain of colourful front windows, will stay up for a few more days. View Large On Black (07011b)

Seeley Lake, Montana's Sunday ("farmers") market is a great place to get fresh, local produce, handicrafts, and other goods. This was the last of the 2021 season, so better stock up and start canning!

All the kids (plus grandkids) were around last Sunday, so a BBQ was held at the beach. A beautiful day, so the kayak was taken to the beach. The kids had fun, then they all thought it would be a good idea for "nanna" to have a go!! I think they all wanted to see me hit the water. I made it with only a damp bottom.
I posted this for my friend Jan! I found this Sandhill Crane walking along the side of the road, poking at the ground with its beak trying to find something to eat. I was with its mate, trying to elude me. They were walking by Palmer blvd at the Celery Fields. (See map). These birds mate for life and are very devoted to each other. Do you think we might be able to learn something from them?
I hope ya'll like it!

Sunday afternoon ride down by the river with a homemade pinhole camera. Not bad for a mint tin and 10 minutes work.

Sappy pathetic little me
That was the girl I used to be
You had me on my knees
I'd trade you places any day
I'd never thought you could be that way
But you looked like me on Sunday
You came in with the breeze
On Sunday Morning
You sure have changed since yesterday
Without any warning
I thought I knew you
I thought I knew you
I thought I knew you well... so well
You're trying my shoes on for a change
They look so good but fit so strange
Out of fashion so I can complain
You came in with the breeze
On Sunday Morning
You sure have changed since yesterday
Without any warning
I thought I knew you
I thought I knew you
I thought I knew you well... so well
I know who I am, but who are you?
You're not looking like you used to
You're on the other side of the mirror
So nothing's looking quite as clear
Thank you, for turning on the light
Thank you, now you're the parasite
I didn't think you had it in you
And now, you're looking like I used to!
You came in with the breeze
On Sunday Morning
You sure have changed since yesterday
Without any warning
And you want me badly
You cannot have me
I thought I knew you
I've got a new view
I thought I knew you well...oh well
Sunday Brunch with (un)traditional Irish scones (I forgot to add sugar), bulgur coriander salad, fake herring salad, true raspberry banana muffins, also apple strawberry muffins, and some strange smoothies which could taste better with vodka. Everything is vegan. Cheers!
On the Sunday closest to the feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, we keep a Dominican custom of blessing and distributing roses in honour of Our Lady, praying that "those sick to whom they are brought may be healed, and that, from the homes to which they are taken, the evil spirits and their ministers may flee in fear and trembling, no more daring to disturb your servants".
