Just another unprocessed version of the image for my Sunday SooC. Two of the crows flew away by the time this image was clicked.

another from last sunday. she loves her daddy. i had to laugh at myself, though. notice how the pillows and painting (it's a flower) nicely match my logo? i'm so predictable!
Cannot say enough great things about this pattern, the style, the instructions, all awesome. The pattern is Sunday Brunch Skirt by Oliver + s. I kept coming across their patterns in blogland and finally gave in to the extra expense. I am so glad I did and think I am hooked. This was my first go at adding piping and it turned out great. Next time I might try adding it to the pockets as well.
Not so many coffee shops are open here on Sunday mornings, so we decided to have a family outing to the railway station. Not for the first time as our older kid loves trains. He's almost three and still remembers how he sat at the station last summer watching trains and eating strawberries.
I really enjoyed our little trip. A hot cup of coffee with a huge croissant which was probably straight from the oven and super delicious. Great Sunday morning atmosphere, not so many people waiting for trains and everyone looked like there was no hurry in the world.
Spent the sunday walking along the bay looking for random shots. Also decided to take the AE-1 (which has been acting up again) for a test run.
Shot with:
Canon EOS Rebel Ti / 300V
18-55mm f/3.5 w/ yellow k2 filter
Kodak BW 400 CN Expired
Stripped and looking for some loving...
Ideas please.
If this was your staircase, what would you do...

I'm really pleased with the way this turned out.
The newspaper took a while but I think it was worth it. Perhaps I should do a series with different newspapers?
This original watercolour is available as a framed print and card at my online shop:
This old man was carefully reading his magazine during a sleepy and calm Sunday afternoon. I found him so tender in his total concentration.

On Sunday afternoons the fishermen gather on the bridge that connects Eminocu and Karakoy, or the waterway that separates Old Istanbul from the New Istanbul on the European side.
The bridge is there of course to allow the many boats to pass underneath, but that doesn't stop the fishermen casting their lines directly in the paths of the boats - so there must have been centuries of the same arguments day in day out!

At this month's Easter edition of The Sunday Show, Coco La Pearl kicks things off with a set of go-go dancing and fire-eating.
Later on she performs a picnic number featuring a dreary book, a cramped dress, and, inevitably somehow, a banana.
When it's bigger, you can see her eyes better.
Ugh, I said I never wanted the dogs on the bed! But I love my pups, so consequently my bedspread is trashed. Oh well, good excuse to get a different one :)
A wonderful Sunday for you all !!
