So, this was not only incredibly frustrating but incredibly fun. I did learn a lot from this exercise and will attempt it again someday, but for now this is what you get.
The standard light bulb is affixed with hot glue to a wooden dowel perpendicular to the bulb base and mounted directly through black foam core. Directly behind the foam core, strobe was fired at 1/2 power. Blue paint was poured directly above the bulb with the aid of a turkey baster which has now been designated to the garbage...ha! I hope you can picture all that, because I keep forgetting to get a photo of the set up.
In pp, I cropped to remove a shadow line, re-sized for web upload, and added the name.
I underestimated the degree of reflections so have fun checking out my dining room. Special awards to the person able to find my dirty underwear hanging from the ceiling fan.
Oh, and a very special thanks to Bobbie who came up with the "hot glue to the dowel" idea and who also did the pouring of the paint.

A bit out of season, but I still have this half-full box of "limited edition" pumpkin spiced Special K. I tried to simulate the bowl of cereal in the picture on the box so I added milk. And as a result, I had no choice but to eat the props after I took the picture, as any responsible photographer would do. Cereal for supper is good sometimes!

Grif played Sherri's Gaslight and it was Jennie's Rez-Day! What a show, too much fun and yes I think this is what Second Life should be about. It was a memories I'll never forget and Dru grace us with at least wearing a scarf besides his guitar, thanks Dru! Thanks everyone. When Grf says this is the friendliest group in Second Life he speaks the truth!
