What made this one special was that I shot it in a weird WL setting that almost looked like a negative image onscreen. I tried shooting it with the negative SL filter and this is what I got!
I was surprised this afternoon by a delivery of bakery treats from a good friend! Holy smokes, were they ever tasty. Thank you so much, Kerry!

Meeting à red fox is always something so special...from dreams to reality... Unfortunately hunters found him and his four brothers...
NS P57 heads north at Norcross, Georgia with the historic 1927 Pullman built, Marco Polo in tow along with the Southern Railway heritage ES44AC. The Marco Polo was donated to the Southeastern Railway Museum by Norfolk Southern later in the morning at Duluth.
After visiting the territory again, I unfortunately discovered that the four kingfishers had moved on and evidently sought out a new territory. I haven't seen any of them since.
I am all the more grateful for the great fortune of having been able to observe these four magnificent fellows over the course of three mornings. They were truly special moments that will stay with me for a long time.

Mr Special
Meet Mr Special, a regular visitor to the Kwara concession. Our first encounter with Mr Special was the previous evening where he was found in one of his favourite hunting grounds near Splash camp. He was hungry, stalked some impala at one point but they didn't come close enough for a kill.
The following morning we were on our game drive when it came over on the radio that he had moved from his spot and the guides from Splash were tracking his spore. As he was heading our way we helped out and it wasn't long before Dave & JD had picked up his tracks on a sandy road, some 12km from where we left him the previous evening. It wasn't much long until we found Mr Special, wandering between scratching posts and termite mounds looking for a hearty breakfast. We hung out with him for a bit waiting for the other guides to arrive before we continued with our drive.
Later on in the morning we returned to spend a bit more time with him and watched him take down a Reedbuck. More of that later ....

SU45-194 z pociągiem specjalnym 15201 "Rezerwat" z Kutna do Laskowic Pomorskich odjeżdża z przystanku osobowego Lniano. Bez wątpienioa była to kiedyś stacja, o czym świadczy rozległa równia oraz widoczna między drzewami w tle wieża wodna z ładnym drewnianym szczytem.
Dla polskich czytelników nieco wyjaśnienia z relacją i nazwą pociągu. Turkol swoje pociągi nazywa handlowo wedle relacji, które sprzedaje i taką nazwę pociągu tu zacytowałem. Natomiast formalnie, wedle zamówienia trasy w PLK, numer pociągu i relacja była o wiele dłuższa, niż handlowy odcinek sprzedawany przez organizatora. Ponieważ w systemie PLK nie można łamać naazw pociągów, więc tam istnieje na całej długości nazwa "Spichlerz" - czyli nazwa, pod którą był sprzedawany pierwszy odcinek.

Livestock specials were a rare sight in the early 1970s. On October 9, 1971, GP35 3323 was at Java, California, leading the first of two stock trains that month on the Needles District. The train is climbing out of the Colorado River Valley on the ascent to the summit at Goffs, 31 miles ahead. The mountains in the distance are in Arizona. The second and last stock train passed through here on October 16–––photo by Joe McMillan.
Today is 1st Anniversary of Cherry's Passing. Spring is my favorite season but Marie and Cherry passed away in March & April, so I have mixed feeling in such confortable season in every year.
A trio (of four) Qantas specials in the morning; the fourth was VH-XZP which I didn't get a frame of, but for the sake of this post, I wished I did... Oh well, we move on...

Dit is een label in een shawl die ik eens kocht in Amersfoort. Ik heb er al jarenlang plezier van elke winter. Dit label zag ik pas bij thuiskomst, maar vind het wel mooi om kleding uit eigen land te kopen.
This is a label in a shawl that I once bought in Amersfoort. I have enjoyed it every winter for years. I only saw this label when I got home, but I think it's nice to buy clothes from your own country. The label is about 6 cm.
