Perhaps helpful information for users of the Canon 1D series APS-H format cameras:
For some of Canons more modern EF-S lenses there are replacement EF mounts available to buy. The DIY mount conversion is easy, as there are only 6 small screws (4 for the bayonet; 2 for the contacts) holding the EF-S bayonet.
Additional advantage is the now metal mount, as there was always criticism for the plastic lens mounts.
I have successfully converted following EF-s lenses to EF mount:
Canon EF-S 10–18mm f/4.5–5.6 IS STM (covers APS-H from ~12mm and even full frame from 14mm upwards)
Canon EF-S 18–55mm f/3.5–5.6 IS STM (covers APS-H from ~22mm)
Canon EF-S 55–250mm f/4–5.6 IS STM (covers APS-H at all focal lengths)

It's just after midnight in Sydney on Sunday 17th September, 2023.
As I often do, I wander around the harbourside of Sydney town, with my Canon 5D Mk IV 'Old School' non-mirrorless camera!!
And, amazingly, I discovered that the 'James Craig' Tall Ship, was moored at Darling Harbour. And, even better, someone had left the lights on that illuminate the masts and rigging. Perfect.
So I climbed the 'Strictly No Access' fire stairs of the Sydney Maritme Museum (Wharf 7) to get a high-angle perspective of the 'James Craig' and the city beyond.
And then I walked around to the Jones Bay Wharf to get some "after midnight" shots of the harbour bridge! All in a night's work.

This early morning a special delivery was done at our home.
5 new boats arrived for texturing.
Now I got delivered : Bandit 460 AK, Bandit IF, Laser, Star Class and the lovely Bandit 25 R
Next to all others these are available now also for custom work
October 1, 2023 and I never expected to find this “Special Rose” so late in the growing season. I love the rich, rich Red set against this faded wall and the shadows as well. I cut this same rose bush last fall to a mere 18” tall. Never in my wildest thoughts did I think it could be 5’ tall now. It now grants me the pleasure of viewing and shooting such great camera shots. Don’t underestimate Nature and Gods power bring about such beauty. Thanks for viewing my stream. Gratitude and Kindness can be found in any garden no matter the time of year.
This Royal tern parent was returning with a meal for its adult sized young who were not yet foraging on their own. It was fun to watch as the parent would often make several circles calling all throughout while waiting for his young to be in position to take the fish without it getting stolen. Sometimes a bird with a fish would land and due to others on the ground with its young it would take-off again waiting for a better delivery opportunity.
What made this one special was that I shot it in a weird WL setting that almost looked like a negative image onscreen. I tried shooting it with the negative SL filter and this is what I got!
never saw it before but it 's definitely a daffodil looking at the leaves and stems..
by now it saw it elsewhere here on Flickr and its called Narcissus Rip Van Winkle!

Always a delight to see the two Fives in action. (The classic view incorporating the platelayers' hut is becoming more difficult due to the growth of the lineside tree in the centre of the image,)
New York, Susquehanna & Western Alco C420 #2002 leads a short Director's Special at North Norwich in May of 1983. As you can see in the background, the weed whacking is under way.

Livestock specials were a rare sight in the early 1970s. On October 9, 1971, GP35 3323 was at Java, California, leading the first of two stock trains that month on the Needles District. The train is climbing out of the Colorado River Valley on the ascent to the summit at Goffs, 31 miles ahead. The mountains in the distance are in Arizona.
