Special Delivery was a massive warehouse take over in Portland that featured prolific Bay Area graffiti artists like Swampy, Feral Child, GATS, Bella Ciao, Just Becauz, Dead Eyes, Attica, Pink Eyes, Political Gridlock, ATWA, Old Crow, Doodles, Coyote, Logo, GoreB, Nart, Cuss, Nina and more.

The funds generated from the sales of these posters will be used to put out a full color book documenting the Special Delivery show as well as street art around Portland during July, 2011.

DK559 stands for photos but also to allow the local police and military to receive the pice of paper we have all filled in with names, nationalities and passport numbers. This is a sensitive area as the Algerian border is never far away (the line almost parallels it) it is a closed border due to a long standing dispute in the south between the two countries that has even seen Algeria support a diaplaced minority fronted by the Polarsario front that even have a few T34 tanks of WWII vintage! Our passage howeve passed without incident.

Now that it's officially Spring, we can at least start thinking about umbrellas instead of parkas - despite a "special weather statement," which suggests very wintry weather for the next couple of days.

Now this was a special morning! We'd previously recce'd a good spot just outside the walls of San Gimignano, then from our hotel room the next morning we weren't sure if the dawn was worth getting out early.

It was! We were rewarded with lovely warm light on the vineyards and the famous towers, but also by the mist forming and re-forming across line after line of hills.
