This plant is a fighter. She’s persevered much longer than others who have graced this pot in the corner before her. I admire your tenacity, spiky plant thing.

I finally got two outfits I have wanted FOREVER... and in mighty fine condition, too! Stacey is wearing the HTF 'Tunic 'N Tights' from 1968. I have loved this outfit ever since I saw it on the video of old toy commercials I came across back in the mid 90's (decades before I started collecting) and was thrilled to find one with perfect top and tights, and a tunic and shorts in very soft, pliable PVC! (most of these are very stiff and hard with age.) I also recently scored a near-minty blonde short flip TNT Francie, with her original headband, a PERFECT flip all round and no issues whatsoever! (I splurged on her as she wasn't a bargain, but hey, life is short....) She is wearing 'The Combo' also from 1968. I also have the shoes for this, but prefer the pink ankle boots, just as I preferred the taller Mod 'Go-Go' boots for Stacey's outfit to the ankle boots that come with it. (My Auburn Marlo TNT is wearing 'Fur Sighted' while TNT Skipper is wearing 'Skimmy Stripes', and Titian talking Stacey in the background is wearing 'Fancy Dancy', BTW.)

These parts are dated between 1965 and 1970.
Purchased them some weeks ago and shot a few rolls. Cosmetic it is like new. Inside some springs needs to be renewed and everyting can use a tlc, and love of course.
Now i know the camera better, it is time for a complete revision, so it will go on for another 50 years.

August 16, 1965: I was with my family, who were staying in a cottage at Crystal Beach (a small community on the Saint John River not too far from the city). Summer vacation! Should have been a carefree time, right? Well, on that day, I went into the beachfront 'canteen', as it was known, and saw a headline in the Evening Times-Globe, a local Saint John newspaper on sale there. It read, "L.A. RIOTS STILL SPREADING".
News of the Watts riots genuinely scared me as a kid. I thought, 'what's to prevent the chaos from spreading across the continent?' How was I to know? Adding to the general atmosphere of anxiety was a new song on the radio called "Eve of Destruction" . . .
Skill-testing question: In 2025, I'm six times the age I was in 1965. What is my current age? (If you can do this little calculation quickly, congratulations. Arithmetic is not a dead subject! Yet.)

I completed 60 years of age and my sisters and children wanted to have a small function at home.
I thank all the elements of life (sun, water, air, space and earth)
which made my life. I owe a lot to my wife without whom my life would be nothing. My sincere thanks to my parents ( no more ), sisters, children and last but not the least my friends who are my treasure.
And I started learning "Life begins after sixty !!!"

don’t lose.
I jumped on the trampoline twice and I don’t think anything else I did all day long would be worth mentioning, but I spent a great evening with my friends and other people in my favourite bar that included many photos and laughter and lying on the road and ended with a shopping cart in someone’s entrance. :D
I forget myself, I want you to remind me.
Quiet moments today. Kind of savoring them. I've got my manimals curled up and napping on either side of me and I'm just soaking up the silence and the little puppy and kitty snores. Trying to push away the unsettled feelings and just enjoy the little things right now.

Cadillac’s brochure created for this model reads as :
“Almost writes its Owner’s Biography”
“It is unlikely that any material possession speaks so eloquently of a man’s good taste and achievement as does the distinctive Fleetwood Sixty Special Sedan. Admired everywhere as a motor car of custom design and coachwork, it says many things about its owner. Most certainly it reflects his respect for correctness of styling. Just as surely, it mirrors his admiration for advanced engineering and flawless craftsmanship. And, just as emphatically, it does full justice to his desire for sound, enduring value…his recognition of a wise investment.”

and I will find the colors in my life
the places and times it was now
and I will walk outside on my own into the light
the kind of clarity that only comes to me on Sunday's shine
Sunday's shine
it tells me everything is not broken
no everything is not broken
if everything is fine
and everything is fine

I figured it was only appropriate to get some more face art thrown in during my last few days of this 365. I loved the new emulation challenge in My Face is My Canvas so that settled it for today's shot. And aren't you happy it's not an iPhone snap? I am. :)
I'm really going to miss this glass cabinet door when we move out of our condo at the end of the month. I'm going to have to figure out some sort of alternative. Maybe I can buy some plexiglass or something and use some frosting spray to create my own portable glass door. That could create some even cooler possibilities for shots...outdoors, for instance. I'll have to keep that in mind.
So...the countdown is on. I just have to get through Friday and then I can relax and start my next project when I'm ready. :)
