The June 1, 2014 Grand Experience Concours at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan. This photo was taken after the show, in a nicely scenic spot where the owner parked during the dinner that followed the Concours.

Stanier Jubilee 45625 Sarawak heads a freight at Clifton Road Junction Rugby. The loco spent most of its time at Crewe North (5A) in the 1950's, moving on to Carnforth (24L) in May 1962 and withdrawn from there in September 1964.

60039 'Dove Holes' is seen in Westbury yard being used as the shunter. Observed on 24th September 2016.
Santiago High School in the center with Clinton Elementary School bottom right photographed in the mid sixties from a helicopter. The highway upper right of the photo is the newly completed Interstate 22 aka The Garden Grove Freeway. The undercrossing top center is Harbor Blvd. The concrete patch at the edge of Santiago is the East Garden Grove Wintersburg flood control channel which flows into the ocean about ten miles downstream.
The latest addition to the Locomotive Services Limited charter operations - and quite a head-turner. Under the umbrella of their Statesman Rail brand, LSL have launched the Midland Pullman brand rekindling the London-Manchester trains of the 1960s.
An HST set has been refurbished at Arlington's in Eastleigh for these charters and the resplendent stock was delivered to its new home on 5Z44 15:55 Eastleigh Works to Crewe Holding Sidings.
Class 43 power car, 43055 arrives into Crewe prior to reversing out into Gresty Loop and then back into Crewe Diesel Depot.
To capture the 1960s look of the original, this is the first HST to run without yellow-ends, with an additional top light fitted as part of meeting the resultant lighting requirements.

When we were up in Maine last month, visiting Pemaquid Lighthouse, we met a couple there enjoying the sunset. They mentioned the last time they were there, thousands of Canadian Geese streamed along for hours along the coastline. I can only imagine how many of these birds actually migrate each season. Here's 65 of them, taken in Gilford, NH. Honk honk!

Collett Grange 6859 Yiewsley Grange heads a Class 8 through freight at an unidentified (but I am sure can be identified) location. 6859 spent its last years in South Wales, allocated to Cardiff Canton, then Cardiff East Dock on the closure of Canton to steam in September 1962. The loco's final shed was Severn Tunnel Junction (86E) in August 1965, from where it was withdrawn some three months later in November.

This cave is located 60 Meters undergound, at Gunung Kidul Residence, Jogja, Indonesia. After going down through a giant hole on the ground using proper rope like cliff climbing, you'll get to an ancient forest, in which the vegetation can only be found here. Take a five/ten minutes walk inside of the Jomblang cave, you'll get into this cave, with big hole to the surface, called Grubuk cave. In Grubuk cave, there is an under ground river, and a peak of stone like throne, called Godam stone, it is the platform the person in the picture stand on. Godam stone is made of sediment from water drops since million years ago. The Amazing Race season 19 TV reality show took place in this cave. It is such an incredible experience and fun caving.
Today is Valentine's Day. A day for love and flowers, candy and jewelry. Yet, for my mom, it's a tough day. Today would be my parents' 68th wedding anniversary. Daddy passed in 2018 & my mom carries on, alone and in loneliness. She will turn 89 this coming May. My older sister brought her 68 red carnations today, just like daddy would have bought her. My two younger brothers sent/or brought flowers, including roses, and wine. I baked homemade sticky buns for her (her favorite) and delivered them today. This is a photo of my mother, taken a few hours ago, as she told me about her wedding day. She detailed how handsome my dad was and how the party at her mother's house, after the morning wedding, went on all day! She talked about her Aunt Nellie, who danced on the table, and the guys from the Naval Hospital, who worked with daddy, who had to carry Aunt Nellie upstairs and put her to bed! 😲😂❤️
The other photograph is a wall hanging that my mom and dad's friend, Cheryl, made for them, about six years ago.
