My long time friends and I are turning 65 this year. One in March, April and May and we have been friends since we have been 13. We are all many miles apart from each other so we will take pics of ourselves and photoshop them together. Sadly, one of the friends has cancer now and we are of course, hoping for the best outcome for her. I hope we can get together if this Covid will settle down for travelling. Look in first comment for a picture of the reverse side of these masks. Mine is the one with the bicycles on it.
OH yeah, In Canada when you turn 65 you get Old Age Pension! LOL ~ I'm in soon.

Twelve loads in tow for 1400 tons, including four car loads of 70' stick rail for the Gold Line Construction Authority in Pomona. Will most likely be used in the rebuilding of the former SFe 2nd District along the new Gold Line extension between Pomona and Covina. Service to Irwindale not expected until at least May. Stay tuned...
A 60 second exposure at Evan Walker Bridge in Melbourne. While I was working on this one I zoomed in on the patrons under the bridge and to my surprise there was one person who didn't move the entire 60 seconds and looks just as sharp as the background.

On 16 June 2022, 46100 'Royal Scot' hauled the 'Capital Express' which I believe was the first time she has taken passengers northbound over this route, since being withdrawn from the Main Line in 1962 for scrapping.
Fortunately, she was saved from the cutter's torch and, after passing through a variety of owners, she was restored to Main Line standards and continues to be operated by LSL.

Anfield, Liverpool, mural by Aske.
I still remember the days when players on the pitch were numbered 1 to 11 and you knew exactly where each one was supposed to be playing! These days it’s all about squad numbers and Trent Alexander-Arnold has borne the number 66 since his days of graduating from the Liverpool academy. He’s actually a defender and a very successful one, but youngsters at Anfield are apparently given high numbers to “stop them getting above themselves” when they make the squad! Being a modest lad he has chosen to retain this number and it has become his trademark, or a lucky talisman perhaps…

Union Pacific SD60 5985, at one time the Chicago and North Western's 8027, was leading a westbound stack train at Beverly Yard in Cedar Rancid in 1996.
Freshly painted in UP's paint with the laughable "We Will Deliver" slogan, the 5985 went on the NS and today roams the rails as SD60E 6947.
The number 5985 is a bland GE AC44CWCTE on the Union Pacific's current roster.
Union Pacific SD60s No. 6061, 6060, 6064, and SD40-2 No. 3626 pull the OANP through Woods Cross on the Salt Lake Subdivision the morning of Aug. 30, 1988.

My Dutch friend Clay would love to see this beast!
If wind turbines and solar panels were so effective, China wouldn't need coal to make them.
Mon ami hollandais Clay aimerait voir cette bête !
Si les éoliennes et les panneaux solaires étaient si efficaces, la Chine n'aurait pas besoin de charbon pour les fabriquer.

I spent two nights camped above Rae Lakes, where I shot the milky way aligned over the iconic Pacific Crest Trail lakes. On the middle day, Matthew Saville and I hiked over the hill into the Sixty Lakes Basin. We intended to walk the length of it, but it was far snowier than we anticipated. We were tired of post-holing from earlier in our trip. As we were discussing our route, this storm blew over the ridge toward us. We excitedly shot photos as thunder echoed in the distance. We hurried the 20 minutes back to our campsite and arrived just as it started hailing heavily.
Almonte falls. I admit to being addicted to waterfalls. I not only love the sight, but I love the power and sound. This one is only 15' from my home and is always worth the drive.

66/365 Hey, only 299 to go!
This was fully inspired by Jenica's photo that she had uploaded onto facebook. I'd give a link, but it wouldn't work because not everyone has her. So yeah! Shout out to Jenica :) Thanks for your photo.
I want to go back to the states where there are fields, hills, grass, trees, and crispy southern air. I want all of that. I want to get away from this sand pit. Run away and never see it again. I want to leave all the sand, dirt, and pollution. I have so many ideas rushing out of my head. I need USA, I need models. I need Texas. I need home.
It hurts to have such an ugly 365. But, i don't feel like quitting because I've come so far. I think from now on. No breaks. I'm just not going to mark anything as my 365 unless I like it. I don't care if i'm far behind. I just legit hate it so much because I had so many great ideas and concepts....but, I have no locations, no models, nothing. And then when I do find models, their leaving the country, or their busy, blah blah blah.
