Steamrail Victoria’s S301 & R761 are seen at KM Post 229, preparing to return to Echuca with the second shuttle of the day

In the rather faded Pacific National Blue and Yellow colours, S class locomotive S306 is seen stabled in 8 road of Newport Workshops.
S306 has spent most of the recent years in storage with Pacific National, in both Victoria (Dynon) and New South Wales (Parkes). Since June of 2019, S306 and other Pacific National diesel locomotives have been stored at Newport with a contract with 707 Operations.
During this time, the 1957 built streamliner was handed over to the ownership of 707 Operations for heritage use.

Owned at the time by CFCLA, S311 is stabled at the Islington Workshops on 18-9-14 . The Two CFCLA S class locos had been in South Australia for a while working on hire to Qube working ballast trains and also Balco workings between Bowmans and Outer Harbor.
CLP12, 4910, S311 & CLF3 leading 7MC5 through Hoppers Crossing, en route to The Rock & Boree Creek, ex Geelong Grain loop. This was the third time in recent months SSR have run off their Appleton to NSW schedule and run out west. 07/08/21

Of course, this S-Class had to be from Asker and Bearum, Norway's richest district.

Passing through typical south western Victorian forrest and farming land, preserved locos S307,C501 pass the Illuka mineral sands processing plant with the 2nd shuttle service from Chrome loop heading back to Hamilton late on the afternoon of 15-7-23
Passing the lower quadrant signals at Barnes, the junction of the Moulamein and Deniliquin lines is S313,B76,T395 working the P&O rice train from Deniliquin to Melbourne on 14-10-11

After arriving at Quambatook and detaching the 2 rear locos, SSR's locos S312,T363 pull a string of hoppers ahead during shunting moves to position for loading at Quambatook on 9-4-21

It's very weird to spot an older S-Class as a diplomatic car. It's a nice find, to be honest, but I think it's pretty weird as well. Even when Gabon doesn't have all the money in the world, you usually get huge discounts on your CD cars.

Very elegant, the metallic colour suits it nicely. A far cry from what they produce nowadays.....
This one looks to have been off the road since 2010/11.
Having just departed from Appleton Dock, C501, 852, S303, 4908, CLF1 and CLF4 lead SSR's 7MC7 empty grain across the Maribyrnong River bridge and into the Bunbury Street tunnel at the commencement of their journey to Ardlethan. 17/12/2022.
S302,S317 pass the old silos at Nyah West while working an empty SSR grain train to Piangil on 24-10-18
