In the rather faded Pacific National Blue and Yellow colours, S class locomotive S306 is seen stabled in 8 road of Newport Workshops.

S306 has spent most of the recent years in storage with Pacific National, in both Victoria (Dynon) and New South Wales (Parkes). Since June of 2019, S306 and other Pacific National diesel locomotives have been stored at Newport with a contract with 707 Operations.

During this time, the 1957 built streamliner was handed over to the ownership of 707 Operations for heritage use.

It's very weird to spot an older S-Class as a diplomatic car. It's a nice find, to be honest, but I think it's pretty weird as well. Even when Gabon doesn't have all the money in the world, you usually get huge discounts on your CD cars.

Very elegant, the metallic colour suits it nicely. A far cry from what they produce nowadays.....

This one looks to have been off the road since 2010/11.
