It took me ages to finish it but Sapphire finally got her own bedroom.

Her bed is Bratz, the vanity Petit Luxury, the chair Sindy.

This is Sapphire Star, produced in 2010.

Made of hand-blown glass, I learned that the individual pieces are then assembled to form the large, spherical structure.

Each frond is individually placed on the sphere every time it is installed.

Arriva Buses Wales VDL Pulsar VDL Pulsar 2 2935 - MX09 EKP, easily recognizable as it's the only Sapphire single decker in the fleet, sets off from Llandudno on route 5 to Bangor.

Arriva Buses Wales ADL Enviro 400 4546 - CX14 BXJ has just called at Abergele Medical Centre on its way from Llandudno to Rhyl Bus Station on route 12. One of 25 E400s allocated to Rhyl depot, a number have been repainted into 'journey mark' colours though 4546 retains its Sapphire livery.

Angel wings is the name my wife and her friends gave to this shot in the Sapphire Ice Caves. It looks pretty tranquil but we faced gale force winds to get here and needed crampons to stay upright on the journey. Two in our group turned back and one fell hitting her head on a rock. We spent the entire first morning around the lodge.

This was my favourite dragonfly of the trip. I had never heard of it before seeing one but there were quite a few around the ponds throughout my stay. I spent a lot of time on the trip trying to get a photo of one I really liked. This was one of my best efforts.

The deep blue and emerald waters of Moraine Lake sparkle in a panoramic view seen from "The Rockpile."

Sapphire Pool, located at Biscuit Basin, is a bright blue pool and considered one of the most beautiful pools in Yellowstone National Park. Following the 1959 Hebgen Lake Earthquake, Sapphire Pool erupted, blowing away biscuit-like deposits around the pool which originally gave Biscuit Basin its name.

The previous photo got me thinking it's 10 years this month since Rhyl's 14 plate Sapphire deckers entered service, and all 20 were displayed at Rhyl Events Arena for an official launch. Here in as new condition are Arriva Buses Wales 4543 - CX14 BXF, 4544 - CX14 BXG, 4545 - CX14 BXH and 4546 - CX14 BXJ. Logic dictates that the next one along would be the subject of the previous photo, 4547 - CX14 BXK.

With a colourful array of daffodils, Sapphire liveried and branded for routes 480 & 490, ARRIVA Kent Thameside 6471 SN58 EOA is seen turning into Dale Road from Station Road, Southfleet whilst working route 489. Thursday 17th March 2016.
