New to Arriva in 2013
Route 158 (Sapphire Service) Nuneaton - Leicester via Hinckley, Barwell & Earl Shilton
With the arrival of two Sapphire specification Enviro 400s at Northfleet in April 2015, the spare vehicle at Northfleet now usually finds itself on other work. ARRIVA Kent Thameside 3762 YJ08 DZN is seen on Mulberry Road, Painters Ash Estate whilst working route 499. Friday 7th August 2015.
From Sunday 9th August route 499 will cease and will be replaced by route 481. This new route starts in Riverview Park and runs via the current 499 route to Coldharbour Road via Denton and Gravesend it then runs down Dene Holm Road tracing the steps of the current route 495 to Hall Road where it then turns left and passes through Waterdales via the current route 498 to Pepper Hill Roundabout where it rejoins the current route 495 via the A2 to Bluewater.

This Wrexham based Plaxton Pointer 2 8.8m bodied Dennis Dart MPD, is registered X209 JOF with the fleet number 860. Operating a the Sapphire Service route 1 between Chester and Wrexham. It is rare to find this bus on this route as it is normally run by Arriva Buses Wales' branded Alexander Dennis Enviro 400's! That have newly upholstered seats as well as other necessities. So it's a bit of change from a double decker to a single decker, with less of the facilities that are on the Sapphire's.

Enjoying a few moments of serenity, ARRIVA Buses Wales ADL Enviro 400 4550 - CX14 BXN waits for time at Llandudno, West Shore before operating route 12 to Rhyl Bus Station.
Despite being six years old this batch of vehicles have been worked hard. When new they were allocated to Northfleet for use on Sapphire route 480 & 490 but in January 2019 following their diswplacement by newer vehicles they were transferred to Guildford for use on routes 34 & 35 before finding their way back to Kent in March 2020.
Still wearing its Sapphire livery, Arriva Kent & Surrey 4270 GN64 DXL is seen here departing from Chatham Bus Station whilst working route 177. Saturday 6th June 2020.

Beneath a beautiful sapphire coloured sky, ARRIVA Buses Wales Enviro 400 4545 - CX14 BXH hurries through Belgrano with a 12 service for Llandudno Pen Morfa (Llandudno West Shore).
Morocco's fabled blue city of Chefchaouen was once a holy city, forbidden to those outside the faith. These days tourists and certain illicit markets tarnish this history. This being said, echoes and glimpses of the city's ethereal beauty remain present.
A drone's-eye view (Petrov) of part of NSW's Sapphire Coast, looking North towards Bermagui. The "mountain" on the horizon is Gulaga (Mt Dromedary) named by James Cook as he sailed Endeavour up the East coast of Australia in 1770.
The main purpose of the day was to sample Arriva 110, Birmingham to Tamworth, which was an early convert to the Sapphire brand.
4410 was the first one sampled, with a step back at Erdington for (cold and filthy internally) sister 4412.
On arrival at Tamworth the pair are pictured on the stand as they wait to return to Birmingham.
4407-4415 are the 9 E400s that are used on the route, and their home Garage is literally round the corner from this stop. 9/1/17.
A quick build with heavy influence from Newright and Legohaulic. I wanted to make a futuristic looking ship that a 1940s business man or detective would ride around the city of tomorrow.

This photograph was obtained at a facility with no wildlife in captivity. Some birds, mammals, and insects were drawn within photographic range by the provision of various carefully maintained foods appropriate to the species and habitat. Natural foods were also abundantly available in the area within and around the facility.

Service 12 between Rhyl and Llandudno which currently operates a every 12 minute service using VDL SB200 Wright Pulsars, Dennis Dart's and DAF DB250LF's although soon to be a every 10 minute service.

It's been 23 years since I lived here but still fond memories prevail of the beach at the end of the street. Much sand has been eroded with many new rocks now visible.
04Sept10 - Sapphire has been adopted to a very loving home in the North part of the County.
This beautiful portrait of Sapphire was taken for a sad reason - I have had to put her up for adoption.
My son's mother backed out at the very last second and sent me an email saying that they can't have anymore cats. Sapphire was supposed to be a companion for my son's male cat.
At least I haven't paid for her plane ticket, but I do need to cancel her reservation now.
The worst part is that Sapphire has bonded to my son now. This action is very typical of my ex. It wasn't her idea so it's a no go. Now why couldn't she have said this two and half months ago so Sapphire could have been adopted as a young kitten to a loving home before bonding to my son.
Sapphire was a free present for my son. I paid for everything and was even going to pay for the $80 plane ticket for her. But my ex didn't have a problem paying $150 for my son's other cat.
