I came across these gorgeous climbing clematis today growing in an old tree trunk. A lovely surprise!
Notice the sherrif stars underneath. Taken at the Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse in Dallas' West End district. If you've visited Dallas and haven't eaten here...you're in for a treat! Lunches are fabulous and nicely priced at around $$ -- Dinners are more extravagant and priced at around $$$ and up. ($=$5.00 or so)

Rustic oak is an appealing reclaimed piece that has a warm look that is very attractive. It blends well in any room in a house. Moreover, it is extremely durable and is a wonderful choice for making recycled wood buffets. The material ages well and through the years could develop its own character and attributes. goo.gl/IH7PRs

2015 Parade of Homes
These images were made during a journey down Rustic Road 109 in Oconto County on June 25, 2017.
R-109 is referred to by some local residents as “Wisconsin’s Everglades” because the road runs through a large complex
of coastal wetlands that ultimately connect to the Oconto Marsh.
Wisconsin's Rustic Roads system was created to preserve many of the state's scenic, lightly traveled country roads. Features of Rustic Roads include rugged terrain, native vegetation and wildlife, or open areas with agricultural vistas.

Grey Gum slab top with beautiful natural edges. Legs of old Gidgee fenceposts are separated and braced with old galvanised water pipe. Very Australian!
Found some old pics on one of my SanDisks. This shot was actually taken in TX when I was out to lunch with girlfriends.

I'm so very appreciative of the Griffin family for allowing me and my long time photobuddy Tim Leonhardt the opportunity to wander around their homestead last weekend. A big thank you from the both of us.
This particular part of Fremont County is as vast as it is wild. Two solid weekend drives and I've barely scratched the surface of this wonderful place. Truly one of the things that makes Wyoming so unique and beautiful.
These bread slices are super easy and quick to make and are excellent as a appetizer. The best thing is that this recipe only calls for ingredients that we always have at home!

Seen on my walk near the hospital today. I love the neatness of the lawn and plantings contrasted with the rusty galvanized iron of the roof. 5/25
