If only you could hear the stories these old trees tell you.
Wenn man doch die Geschichten hören könnte, die einem diese alten Bäume erzählen.

There is a nice blue shed on this property, which seems to be the only thing fenced in. I didn’t see a farmhouse or any farm animals. I think some woodpeckers got to the bottom slat of the fence or some very large termites. Happy Fence Friday.

Quick version of rustic buns (on the table in 30 minutes)
The measure is for 4 larger or 6 smaller buns.
1 cup yogurt + a little to coat
2 cups of flour
(Two cups of flour in total, of which 1 cup is whole wheat flour and the other consists of 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, so I add the spelled flour, oat, barley or flour you like, until fill the other cup. I always put a tablespoon of ground flaxseed there.)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoon(10gr)baking powder or baking soda
1 teaspoon dry spices (oregano or thyme)
1/2 cup mixed pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds oat flakes to sprinkle on buns
The dough is sticky, mix it with a spoon, then shape the balls with wet or oiled hands. Coat each bun with yogurt and sprinkle with seeds. Bake at 180c for 10-15 minutes in a preheated oven.
We like a crispy crust but if you like a soft one, coat the freshly baked buns with a little water and cover with a kitchen towel.
Rustic Accommodations mule barn interior with very weathered wood, old structure relocated to the pioneer village park, shot in North Carolina.
Last year I photographed the fine Rustic Gothic manor house "The Grange", and gave it a romantic feel (link below). In the previous shot today, I described how this unique house came to be built in the colony in 1847, with a link to more information about its fascinating owner, Dr William Valentine, the surgeon and naturalist.
In this photograph I will again steer us into an artistic interpretation through the use of black and white. The light was perfect for it and that white picket fence is incorporated to create a sense of "distance" between us and this gothic building.

I don't usually post a lot of multiples of the same subject, but I loved this sign so much I'm going to post the other side.

It's been a while since I put one of my floral portraits out there, so with the rubbish weather that we have had to endure here in the UK recently & all the other miserable news that seems to be constantly hitting us globally at the moment, I thought I would post one today to try and put a smile on everyone's face wherever you are in the world, I hope you have a lovely day.
