The rustic bridge that ran over Church Glen was constructed in 1853 but removed in 1866 when the Gervis Arcade was constructed on its picturesque site by Henry Joy - to a great deal of controversy in the town.
Kind of an ominous feeling created around this rustic house, being part of a little Hamlet called "Aldeia da Mata Pequena", situated near Mafra, Portugal.

In April, my childhood best friend Krista married her love, Daniel, in an intimate elopement on my family's farm in rural Southwest Washington. This small and private celebration was filled with heartfelt moments, surrounded by the natural beauty of the countryside. As both host and photographer, it was an honor to capture their love story against the backdrop of lush greenery, rustic charm, and the serene simplicity of the farm. Krista and Daniel's day was a testament to the beauty of meaningful, personal celebrations. I hope these images reflect the joy and love they share.

R-32, Wisconsin’s longest rustic road, offers a 37-mile journey through several county parks and the Peshtigo River State Forest. The route features multiple species of hardwoods and conifers, along with numerous granite boulders and outcroppings. R-32 also offers vistas of the Thunder and Peshtigo rivers.
Wisconsin's Rustic Roads system was created to preserve many of the state's scenic, lightly traveled country roads. Features of Rustic Roads include rugged terrain, native vegetation and wildlife, or open areas with agricultural vistas.

The idea for this bark and twig rustic window treatment was inspired by a visit to a Great Camp in the Adirondacks years ago. The white, split and reverse bark pattern design edged with dogwood twig works so well with the log home master bedroom wall dressed off with Hudson's Bay blanket hand-made curtains.
