800202 is seen passing Seton going away from the camera with 5Q92. 800202 is working the 1003 Edinburgh Waverley - Newcastle driver training run with LNER. Watching its movement on Railcam it seemed to stop in the Musselburgh area and was looped at Prestonpans. So it is seen here at 1033 running late on the 16th October 2018

A Richmond to Stratford 'London Overground' service departs from platform 4 at Willesden Junction.
Having finished switching Ackerville, L599 is headed for the Slinger crossovers and Quad Graphics in Hartford.

This is one of the trains running on the famous Bluebell Railway in the heart of Sussex it's an amazing place and if you are in the area I can highly recommend a visit.

The normally nocturnal BODO (Boston, Massachusetts to Dover, New Hampshire) empty gravel train made a rare daylight arrival in Dover this morning after outlawing at Rockingham Junction. A Rigby crew was brought in to take the train the last 13 miles into Dover. Both NHN GP38-2's and the leased FURX GP38-2 are currently being used on the train. The CPF243 interlocking at the west end of Dover still features a classic B&M signal bridge with searchlight signals. The signal heads were changed from 3 light to 2 light in conjunction with the Amtrak Downeaster service signal upgrades in 2001.

The 140 Vintage Running Day on 23rd November 2019 commemorated the service of route 140 to Heathrow Airport, with RTs, RMs and Ms running the full route from Heathrow up to Harrow Weald, Bus Garage. Some journeys even continued along the old 140 route to Mill Hill (which is now the 114).
The weather was typically wintry: dark and wet, but nonetheless the day offered the potential for a number of unique photos.

The L571 local running westbound over the circa 1897 truss bridge over the Cedar River near MP282 I had little time to set up the exposure and focus on this shot. This bridge has had water near or over the rails in 1993,1999 and 2008 (and probably a few others I am not aware of) During 100+ year flood events, the CNRR usually parks heavy rock ballast cars on it to stabilize the structure. A plate girder bridge on the old CGW bridge downriver a few miles did not survive the 2008 flood, and was rebuilt about 18 months after that flood.
Running cross country is the closest man will ever get to flying.

On a recent long walk down the Regent's Canal from Camden to Bethnal Green I took a lot of pictures. I've arranged them in series that I want to be seen together - I'm not posting to my usual groups because the daily upload limits and the commenting obligations make it just too onerous.
