Kennedia prostrata, commonly known as running postman or scarlet coral pea, is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae, endemic to Australia.
It is a prostrate or twining shrub which can spread to a width of 1.5 metres (5 ft) and has light green leaves that comprise 3 rounded leaflets with undulating edges. Scarlet pea flowers are produced singly or in pairs between April and November in its native range. These are followed by cylindrical pods that are 3–5 centimetres (1–2 in) long.

Not the best quality but I'm trying to show just how fast these sweet fawns were running. I was lucky to catch both of them in the same frame.
Thanks so much for the visit!
Well i was running after the horses but they just ran away from me and all i wanted was to pet the baby and take its pic but mommy was not going to let the crazy lady get to the baby :) i think i looked like a nutcase hehe running after a baby horse and they were not having that .
anyway this is taken on the other side of the great Kirkjufell ,i guess you have seen a few images from that beautiful place but not as often from this side of it .
These two are in one of the paddocks behind Presidents Park. They had heard their owners car coming as I was about to take the shot, so they ran to meet her.
A bird had flown into our dining room window, and left an impression of its wings, body and legs. I took a lot of close-up photos with the house in darkness, so the white would be seen against a dark reflection of the garden. However, these photos did not really work.
So, I put the lights on inside the house and got the contents of the house with a reflection of the garden and the shape of the bird showed up well. Then my grandson ran past with two outlines caused by the double glazing. I thought it made an attractive photograph with a story.
After walking on the treadmill, I laid down on the sofa and played around with my camera's shutter speed.
This is is the runner who ran through this shot www.flickr.com/photos/17469730@N00/23549427963/in/datetak..., here she is on her way back .
Bastian and I were in the woods today. It was absolutely lovely.
Lea and the kids will be leaving tomorrow morning at 7 am for Jesperhus in Jutland. I´ll be joining them Sunday after the summer trip with the guys (and the very important game against Sweden. If we win we will be 10 points ahead ;-) and 4 matches to go...)
But I´ll miss my kids, its weird packing the car and not leaving yourself...

A white-tailed deer running with his white tail straight up is a beautiful sight to behold. I liked this shot because she looked like a kangaroo. :-)
A Terek Sandpiper (Xenus cinereus) was caught running in its typical posture while seeking tiny creatures underneath the muddy inter-tidal surface. They are extremely agile and very tough to approach. But most interesting is their hunting behaviour. They change the moving direction in a brisk and catch prey all of a sudden in a burst. Here it was framed in such a sequence of events and I enjoyed it very much from a distance. Pics was taken from Frasergunj sea shore in West Bengal, India.
MARC rebuilt EMD GP39PH-3C 72 and train 846 pass through Carroll Interlocking running on approach signals behind MARC 844 and CSX M410.
M410 was run ahead of both MARC trains, which made late trains run even later.

I look around for the friends that I used to turn to to pull me through
Looking into their eyes I see them running too
Running on-running on empty
Running on-running blind
Running on-running into the sun
But I'm running behind
Honey you really tempt me
You know the way you look so kind
I'd love to stick around but I'm running behind
You know I don't even know what I'm hoping to find
Running into the sun but I'm running behind
These two Pronghorn Antelope Does (i.e., females) took off running when threatened by the noise of a big diesel motorhome roaring up the road.
Textbooks say they can run short distances at 60 mph making them the fastest mammals in North America. These girls were running at what seemed a moderate pace - note their stride takes all four hoofs off the ground at once.
I was about 70 feet away when taking this photo...the motorhome was about 200 feet away but it was making a heck of a racket.
Shot in the southern part of the Black Hills in South Dakota, near the Wind Cave National Park (USA).
