my first stop motion. i wish i would have made it longer, but i didn't. i'm content with this, but it could be better.

I'd been notified by my weather watching mum that a few cold fronts were on the way. Switched on the radio, and they were predicting rain for the next week!
Can.
Not.
Believe.
My.
Luck.
as nice as the Mournpall Camping Ground is, it's about 7-8 km from sealed road, and my trusty un4wd Corolla would not really deal with this track too well if it were wet. So I packed up the tent, and moved to the Lake Hattah Camping Ground. Where I got bogged in sand. Champion action - 2nd bogging of the day.
This Restless Flycatcher was rather annoyed by my setting up camp under "his" tree, but I was knackered. I looked and saw no sign of nests, but moved a bit away so as to not cause him any grief. You can see by the sky that it was greying up nicely, and it started to rain about 4 hours later.

Feeling anxious and restless and wanting to be on the move. I always feel this way when I don't have a trip planned. A few weeks home to recover from my summer and I'm ready to go, go, go.

It was so nice to be out on a trail again -- our first weekend without the threat of rain in quite a while. Denison University's Biological Reserve was muddy, but we had a good hike all the same.

Photo Challenge Day 6 (One more sleepless night before we go to Hogwarts!) As the night waned on she became more and more restless. She couldn't wait until Saturday. She hadn't heard much from her friends over the summer so she hoped they had had a fun-filled summer like herself. Staring off into the distance she began picturing all the adventures from last year. Soon those memories began to morph into dreams. She couldn't wait to see what lies ahead for this year.
Most of the fabrics I chose have a sense of chaos and energy. Most are not very colorful, as a feeling of restlessness tends to be a bit directionless.

i shared a dark suspicion that the life we were leading was a lost cause, that we were all actors, kidding ourselves along on a senseless oddyssey. it was the tension between those two poles - a restless idealism on one hand and a sense of impending doom on the other - that kept me going.
