This fellow laid in this position and was calling then closed its eyes and I really thought it and passed away. Then its mate came along and they both flew off!

In Norway we have a holiday in the autumn term, and mine starts on Friday afternoon. On Saturday I'm going to Dubrovnik for a week. I guess this is my last post before I'm leaving.

heading back to the car to head for our next destination, we came across two other photographers. this guy was so interesting to watch. he was SO fast. zipping around from one spot to another. i wondered if they were on a very tight schedule.....and i would have loved to have seen his photos.

Komodo dragons , the largest lizard in the world, in their new exhibit. A special viewing area allows young guests to crawl under the exhibit and pop up into an acrylic dome and see the animals close-up.

Waves head toward shore from different directions off Point Joe, along scenic 17-Mile Drive. This turnout is actually called "The Restless Sea" and is stop #6 on the drive.
A stop at this particular point, with the soothing repetition of sea and breeze, is definitely a cure for what ails you.

I've had two hours of sleep, if that, so I feel pretty terrible. My energy isn't at the best level right now. It's really hard to focus when you're shaky and unhealthy.
Things will get better soon, I'm sure of it.
