Taken on the Wearne Road Birdlife WA excursion.

This awesome new shirt from Restless curbs my insatiable style appetite, espouses one of my favorite activities, and expresses my current emotional state.

Haven't been on sl in months (laptop overheats too badly spring/summer), but i checked the marketplace today and saw this. SO exciting! :]

Aside from burning film looking for cool things in the woods, I also like angles and perspective. Nothing provides a vanishing point like a straight railroad track, with random sleeper beams rising up out of the ground. Henry David Thoreau had a great opinion of these wooden beams. The migraine gradually disappeared but left we with a restless - but harmless - night, feeling like a lark and an owl all at the same time, tossing and turning until it was easier to get up! The stencils look just like how I think my brain neurons must have looked. Quickshpaes and stencils with additional clipart from Fantasy Elves at DaisyTrail at Serif.

I'd been notified by my weather watching mum that a few cold fronts were on the way. Switched on the radio, and they were predicting rain for the next week!

Can.

Not.

Believe.

My.

Luck.

as nice as the Mournpall Camping Ground is, it's about 7-8 km from sealed road, and my trusty un4wd Corolla would not really deal with this track too well if it were wet. So I packed up the tent, and moved to the Lake Hattah Camping Ground. Where I got bogged in sand. Champion action - 2nd bogging of the day.

This Restless Flycatcher was rather annoyed by my setting up camp under "his" tree, but I was knackered. I looked and saw no sign of nests, but moved a bit away so as to not cause him any grief. You can see by the sky that it was greying up nicely, and it started to rain about 4 hours later.

Day Two Hundred Sixty Three: September 1st, 2007.

Feeling anxious and restless and wanting to be on the move. I always feel this way when I don't have a trip planned. A few weeks home to recover from my summer and I'm ready to go, go, go.

But where?

You'll see.
