Yes, quite well rested from Italy, that's true. But I'm a restless man. So in an hour or so I leave for Budapest. I'll be gone for a week. Next saturday, 19th of august, I'll be back home. It's my own never-ending-tour. See you later, dear friends.

Every time I go to check on the kitties they've moved somewhere else!!!
A few minutes ago she was sound asleep on my bed, now she's in the living room sleeping on the scratching post base!! Never slept there before!!

ps - I just went to check on her again and guess what! She's not there!! Silly thing! She's now in their cat bed (for now!!)

This was originally supposed to be a very simple photograph and even simpler edit.
Then I started fiddling with it. And couldn't stop. So now it's kind of morphed into this extreme PhotoShop thing. It looks like I put on too much dark eyeliner, but I'm not actually wearing any.

Kings Cross St. Pancras station in London. Even though it was a Sunday afternoon, the place was still absolutely packed most of the time. I stayed for ten to fifteen minutes on the underground platform of the Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan line, whilst people rushed through.
Of course, I'm normally just as rushed - it was nice to deliberately slow down and actually think about a journey through London for once, rather than stay anxiously glued to my watch counting down the seconds and feeling that a half-hour wait at Marylebone waiting for the next train would be disastrous!

I opened my eyes and this is the first thing I saw....see the light on the drape? It hasn't touched the bed yet...I had to jump up and grab my camera before the light escaped my world...I am a slave to the light...
Pretty basic night scene - moon over the water - the cool part and the reason I uploaded it was to show you all the texturing in ArtRage that is possible if you weren't aware.
See those big globs of paint in the water - so full and gooey... I love that - and one way to achieve that result without smearing your actual paint is to add another layer below the background layer and just start globbing down paint and smearing it around.
Below is a picture of the same painting with the background taken away. You can see gooey white paint spread all over the canvas on the layer under the 'bottom' layer - then when the background is added back it adds some great depth.
