I am so restless tonight...
I became a US citizen in 2001, just days before 911. Not until now had I experienced such proud feeling of being an American. As Tom Brokaw said in his closing thoughts of the coverage tonight, "what a country!"
Yes, what a country...

The dogs helped themselves to the loveseat and kept switching themselves around.
Sorry for the crappy quality, but it was low light & my iPhone. :)
“Feel” the humidity and hear sounds of thunder and dripping water, while walking on spongy floors and viewing unusual animals from Southeast Asia, including snakehead fish, Southeast Asian turtles, Malayan Leaf frog and the rare Tomistoma crocodile (above).

Decided to go for a slightly wonky composition since I loved the combination of colour and shapes against the skyline despite the buildings falling over!

This was taken in a very old country cemetery, late at night, the weather was warm, around 70 that night., but when I took this picture, it got REAL COLD all of a sudden!! ..Also, it wasnt raining, not a cloud in the sky! I was surprised when I downloaded this, as you can see why! No photo shop was done at all...This is the real deal! Thought I would post this to get in the Halloween spirit! Best viewed large...Also, if you go to my paranormal set, there is another pic that was taken that night in the same cemetery, which is even stranger when you enlarge it, it is titled The Haunted Cemetery!
The days grow shorter and the air is damp and cool. The sweet smell of decaying leaves permiates the air. You can't help but feel that there is someone watching you from the garden.
This little girl did her best to get a closer view during an evening performance at a Jesuit Mission in Battambang, Cambodia. She kept getting out of her seat and it was fun to watch her involvement in the show.
The Mission provides support for children who've suffered health problems from landmine accidents and those who have other disabilities. Children with these conditions are generally ostracized in Cambodia and the Mission provides a home with love support.

Strong "Vaudaire" south-east wind outpouring from the Rhône valley with Foehn conditions on lake Leman and the Lavaux vineyard region, canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
This place amazed me, how in the evening the lake would be choppy then by morning it was crystal clear and still.

“We are restless because of incessant change, but we would be frightened if change was stopped”
Lyman Lloyd Bryson
Yeah, I finally located my remote switch.
Finding the switch enabled me to finally be able to accomplish the 6:25 minute exposure on BULB mode to accomplish this photo, which I'd been wanting to do for a long time. With an ISO at 100, I went and lay on the bed for the aforementioned time, changing positions, to get the visualizations I'd intended all along. I'd first imagined this exact image in my mind months ago. It's dusk outside, not daylight.
