Olympus E-M5 + Canon FD 70-210mm f4

Just updating my portfolio with some re-tooled photos...

this time with a fisheye...

*14* years ago (to the day).

This of Austin in the hospital with pneumonia (with a 50/50 chance of survival as he was born with a collapsed lung).

Yet another History-Redux pic posted on the same date it was taken (14-years apart).

He survived and is stronger than ever!

Tokyo, Japan.

Bob Bonn very kindly had a go at retouching the picture of Mama - great job! Thank you!

For the spotter out there, this wasn't taken with an Olympus camera, but was made from a slide using an attachment that fitted to the front of the Olympus...

The painting was gathering dust. Now it is gathering dust in a dramatic pose.

So, I am reprinting this entire boxing series and rescanning them in.

I am also about to set up an etsy account this week! Which these photos will be available for sell.

ALSO: Dusting is from the scanner, and not the actual print.

A better frame on another roll.

Splat! by John K. Melvin at Mission 17 gallery.

at least the film didn't cost me anything, and i got a free roll in exchange for it. hooray for rabbit photo (but not their mediocre staff or their scanning skills)

No, this is not an HDR. The above image was from a single exposure.

(however, the tone-remapping that was done is similar to the final step in creating an HDR. in Lightroom you can do this by dialing back the exposure slightly and exaggerating fill light. of course, I made some changes to colors, contrast etc as well, but that is too dull to remember in detail)

Here is an edited version of my twilight illuminated Jaguar photo from last night; the original editing was done in Photoshop, and for this version, I ran it through Picnik, and then once more through Photoshop for some minor tweaks.

I like the clarity and tones of the original a bit more, but I like the graduated black and white and drama of the Redux more than the original.

Hope you all like it!

I think I like this much better in black and white.

I recently inadvertently deleted many photos from my photostream. I've been trying to retrieve as many of them as I could - it hasn't been easy... Like this one, I've marked the 'deleted' photos as 'redux'. I lost all of the information that goes with a photo, including the faves and comments I received. I'm merely putting them back in my photostream so they are not lost forever. I've turned off the comments for each of them.

From the Yashica-Mat on Kodak Portra 160VC. Taken at the Paseo Arts District in Oklahoma City. Scanned negative.

Going over some of my old images and I decided to revisit this particular one from this past summer.

A rework (close crop) of the Madame Butterfly portrait of young Max. You can just about make out the pens in her hands within the reflection of her eye.

Re-edit of "Circle". A lone, listing white streetlamp in the night. Has since been followed by "Circle (redux II)," with a slight correction for perspective. Still like this version, though, I have to say!

Eurobricks Mini Technic Competition.

Make a Technic model no more than 200 parts.

This would be an interesting project, so I hope I can finish this within the 200 parts limit.

First MOC-up. The main function is working, now refine it and I would be happy if I could integrate steering, but this will properly use too many parts.

To be continued...
