I decided that it was time to update this previously posted scene with a totally new look and feel. I captured this in a courtyard in Radda in Chianti, the hub of the Chianti Classico wine region in Tuscany.

For Macro Mondays - Redux (Reflection 11/11/2019)
I chose the Reflection theme from November for this week's Redux theme as we look back at MM for 2019.
These skittles were the novelty item in one of the Christmas Bon Bons (Crackers) on Christmas Day. They are 3/4 of an inch high and 1/4 inch at the widest point.
Happy Macro Monday!
And Happy New Year!
Soon we put away the tree....
After I posted the first image, the light bulb went off in my head and I turned the Christmas lights on!! duh...
HMM and enjoy this last week of this most terrible year... hopefully 2021 will be much better!!
I photographed this cityscape of Manhattan, while the World Trade Center was under construction, from Brooklyn Bridge Park on July 25, 2010.
Thank you Macro Mondays for choosing the themes in this difficult year.
I hope you all have a Happy and safe New Year
HMM
A new version of an earlier Photo. I am giving this one to my parents for Christmas. Hope they'll like it!
A Painterly version of an older photograph, from 2012, of the wetlands around Lost Lagoon, Vancouver.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR VIEWS, COMMENTS, FAVES AND INVITES!
Redux 2020
Paper (614)
i was fascinated by the abstraction and the angles,
so, a tiny piece of white paper, folded
shot in the sun, on a piece of red wood
last one of 2020, thank you Macro Mondays

HMM friends!

Macro Monday Themes: Phobia, miniatures

I captured this image of three New York City bridges from One World Observatory, which is located on floors 100-102 of One World Trade Center. From left to right, the Williamsburg Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, and the Brooklyn Bridge all span the East River; linking Manhattan and Brooklyn. [Flickr Explore #126, April 11, 2021.]

For this year's Redux I've revisited School Supplies theme with this pencil topper, the little pink crown would also fit the "on top" theme.
Thank you for all the visits, comments and faves throughout a year, it's been a pleasure to take part in weekly Macro Monday challenges and I have come across many pretty, original and interesting photos in the group pool this year.
“We were born of stars and in death we will return to them. Let's not strive to be black holes in the meantime. Let's illuminate the world instead of darkening it, instead of tearing it to pieces. Let's prove we are worthy of being stardust.”
