Website Redesign for California Snacko.
This website was designed by my company Visionefx. We create Web sites for businesses in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Hampton and Newport News.

Um dos primeiros logos que fiz, e foi entre o ano de 1999 e 2000, não lembro exatamente. Ilegível será? hehe.
This design starts with the idea that as a traveler is progressing from the check-in counter to their seat on the plane, different information on their boarding pass is relevant. That information is presented from top to bottom, so as they get closer to departure they're just working their way down the pass, and can ignore everything above. It's also designed to be folded up (and shoved in a pocket), and have all the *really* important info available on the bottom half.
Taking into consideration realistic printing scenarios, all the data printed on the boarding pass is black and fixed width. I also limited the number of sizes of text used. (All the grey text and the background is intended to be preprinted.)
I'm occasionally seeing this design pop up in Twitter (note the sidebar)... but it doesn't stick - have they not made up their mind on if they like it yet or not?
Working with {e} house studio has been unbelievable. They have managed all of our creative needs with exceptional performance.

Interface da loja Supreme Inox com a nova solução visual que foi feita a pedido da Conceito Web de Porto Alegre. Foram feitos pequenos ajustes no css além da confecção de um background que deu mais vida ou projeto.
Just another little preview...
Consider that I've tried to design a homepage, which isn't a blog, but instead promotes me more like a "commodity".
Screengrab illustration I used for my blog article about the new Superpages redesign.
You can check out the design for yourself at www.superpages.com, of course!
I finally redid my site. I still have tons of work to do but at least now that old ugly layout is gone. The background images are slow to load which I have to fix, and there are still a few visual issues. I also have to finish some of the layout and eventually I will around to filling out some of the content. (The pinkish background is a status with different format, most will be black)
I am always second guessing the black background - I really like clean, minimal designs. But, I am pretty attached to it by now and it has become part of my site's identity so I can't just change it.
Maybe one day I will actually have dolls to sell on my website :P. I am very close to going ahead and getting my first doll professionally made.. but I hate spending money and the initial fee scares me. I really don't know if I could sell enough and that money could be the difference between being able to print my new doll and not. But it would be so nice to actually see her finished.. I had to put it out of my mind after all the setbacks and I am scared to be optimistic about it now.

A little diagram I built to explain to customers how the web redesign process works. I found that they were having a hard time understanding the steps between requesting a redesign and completing one.
This shows the main archive for all design-related posts. Considering that I've gone for a big colour-coding effort on all of my posts, I decided to change the main colours, depending on which category is being displayed.
We developed a whole set of materials, including a new logo, to target both current and prospective clients

Idea after idea of sketches for the OnlyJames redesign. I went through several hundred of those little miniature boxes, until I found the perfect one.
