Outdated kitchen gets a complete make over. Gone is the drop ceiling, beige cabinets, fake yellow brick backsplash, florescent lighting and short upper cabinets.
AD Redesign Project for SMAD 201. We had to find a bad advertisement, and turn it into a good one. Ironically, I found a bad advertisement from an advertising agency.

We were asked to redesign the handle of some instrument or tool. I chose a drumstick, and created a sleeve which encourages the user to hold it in the common 'match grip' position.
What the LEADERSHIP newspaper looked like before the redesign and training efforts. The design workshops and design process was led by Robb Montgomery, a U.S. journalist who has led newspaper redesigns, in San Francisco, Chicago and Washington, D.C.
www.obsessiveconsumption.com is down for an overhaul. Will be back up by December 1st in time to properly celebrate the holiday season.

I agree with Dave that the NYT redesign sucks. The collective wetting of the blogosphere's pants, however is just embarassing.
At this Digital Design Slam, student teams had one day to re-imagine and redesign the VFS Digital Design blog (http://ddblog.vfs.com/). They presented their final design concepts to a panel of judges.
