We don't see this one so often. It is seen here looking tentatively to see if there were any cats in the garden, after coming through to hole under the fence, just left of centre at the bottom of the image. It is not so bold as the other one and as our male cat, Alfie, was there this fox did not stay. Taken from the spare room hide through double glazing as usual. (He came back later to eat a conference pear and some peanuts and bread we'd put out for the birds)

This is one of two foxes that hunt in a field near my home.
Did you know some studies show that in places where there has been an increase in Lyme disease, there has also been a decline of small-mammal predators, like the Red Fox? Foxes help keep the number of Lyme-carrying meadow voles and field mice down. When coyotes are around though, there are fewer foxes to help manage this.
A fox couple in the back yard of my mom's house in Indiana. They had a little trouble and got "stuck" while mating, but separated and spent time together in the yard before going their separate ways.
Series of eight. All taken on my phone and at my allotment. Not good pics, but a record of a friendly fox that came for a visit. It accepted a Nice biscuit (it was all I had).
