Just stepped into the grass and weeds of Cooking Lake, North Shore when this fellow and I surprised each other. With a yelp he was away. My 1st 2 shots were out of focus but these two turned out pretty nice. I was so pleased as I have only ever seen foxes on 4 or 5 occasions and have never been able to get a photo. I guess that makes this a lifer for me

Sly as a fox... So tough to get a bead on these critters. But whenever you get a chance to see one it is a great day!

River Dodder, Dublin

Who knew we had kit foxes this close to my house. This shot was from almost 200 yards off. On this day it was a kit fox, a couple of days ago was one of the parents.

A shot I took a number of years ago, but still a favorite.

I have never put a photo up that was taken in a zoo, but now I have. This weekend with grandkids and no time for birds, so went to the zoo. It is a small zoo where most the animal have been recovered from the wild, injured.

A fox couple in the back yard of my mom's house in Indiana. They had a little trouble and got "stuck" while mating, but separated and spent time together in the yard before going their separate ways.
