Another shot of Mr Fox bit different to earlier one. Not seen him for a couple of weeks as he has other things on his mind at this time of year hopefully he will be waiting for his sausages soon : )
Yes I found out my little friend is a male as he has been turning up every night for his sausages managed a few quick grab shots tonight just after nine he was wary thou as a dog walker was nearby so ran away at first.
Full frame. 1/50 ISO 2200
Managed to get a quick shot before it ran off. Kakashi wanted to pursue but he is getting too old for such things.
Looks battle scarred not seen him with all this rain the field near me is turning into the everglades wetland :(

Taken at 9.18pm I just wish he could come a bit earlier but a few dog walkers here so he has to wait and also me of course the light would be better too. But happy with this.

A video of Mr Fox voice by George Clooney maybe I should call him George lol.
This vixen is awakening from her nap and ready to stretch out those muscles to prepare for finding food!
Taken 16 March 2021 in Anchorage, Alaska.
I finally finished going through my Washington trip. I'll post a few then make a gallery for my website (famous last words). Here's the one blur that kind of worked. For those non-photo nuts among us, you pan the camera at the same speed that the subject is moving and, theoretically, the subject retains sharpness while everything else blurs out.
Although Mr Fox is ok with me and hubby (we have the peanuts lol) he’s very wary of other people, always on guard if he sees someone!
Big thanks for viewing, favs and comments 😀
The beautiful vixen showed up last night after 10pm with the dog fox I love her little eyebrows :-))

Many thanks for stopping by always appreciated.
This youngish looking Red Fox was waiting for the hare (see post to the left) which chose the lesser of two evils and ran back towards my camera.
This was a long shot.
Red Fox Kits
Spending time at home going thru some old files I came across photos I had taken of a group of kit foxes that decided to take up housing in my sand mound of all places!!
I had the Nikon7000 at the time and little knowledge of my camera, especially the manual feature, but this opportunity presented itself and well I gave it a shot...
oh, to have this opportunity again would be so awesome!
