Sly as a fox... So tough to get a bead on these critters. But whenever you get a chance to see one it is a great day!

Grand Teton National Park

A shot I took a number of years ago, but still a favorite.

I have never put a photo up that was taken in a zoo, but now I have. This weekend with grandkids and no time for birds, so went to the zoo. It is a small zoo where most the animal have been recovered from the wild, injured.

A fox couple in the back yard of my mom's house in Indiana. They had a little trouble and got "stuck" while mating, but separated and spent time together in the yard before going their separate ways.

A red fox glances up from his foraging just in time for a picture. While I've seen many red foxes in my life, seeing them in Churchill, Manitoba is something different. They have been moving north onto the tundra, sometimes at the expense of the native Arctic foxes.
